Our APP's unite to improve lives through innovation, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to achieving unparalleled excellence in patient care.  </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Emory Critical Care Center is currently hiring Acute Care Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants for Weekend shifts at Emory Decatur Hospital.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>In this role the ideal APP candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of Critical Care experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assitant.  Nurse Practitioner  candidates must be Acute Care certified (ACNP or AGACNP).</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Our Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners are an integral part of the Emory Healthcare integrated academic health care system. Nurse Practitioner candidates must be Acute Care certified (ACNP or AGACNP).  </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>This is a Weekend role with 3-13's per week.  </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assists in the evaluation and treatment of patients.</li>\n <li>Documents the delivery of care in the individual's medical records.</li>\n <li>Conducts patient interviews and documents patient histories, psychosocial histories, health status and medical problems or potential problems.</li>\n <li>Under the direction of a physician, performs physical examinations and specialized diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures including cast application and removal, wound suturing and dressing changes.</li>\n <li>Assists physician in diagnosing medical problems, developing care plans, and prescribing treatment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</strong>:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Completion of an accredited Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant program.</li>\n <li>Currently licensed as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia by the Georgia Board of Nursing and certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or equivalent body, or Certified as a Physician's Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).</li>\n <li>Licensed as appropriate in the state of Georgia.</li>\n <li>May require at least one year of direct experience in one or more high acuity clinical specialties.</li>\n <li>Current BLS and ACLS issued by the American Heart Association.  </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>JOIN OUR CRITICAL CARE APP TEAM TODAY!</strong>  Emory Healthcare (EHC), part of Emory University (EUV), is the most comprehensive academic health system in Georgia and the first and only in Georgia with a Magnet® designated ambulatory practice.
