You’ll contribute to UX sprints and future-visioning efforts by designing thoughtful, high-quality prototypes that help teams explore what’s possible and align around what matters.</span></p><p></p><p><span>You’ll apply your creative and technical skills to test assumptions, express ideas with emotional clarity, and support the delivery of best-in-class experiences for our guests. You’ll work within a team environment that values experimentation, inclusivity, and care for both the work and the people doing it.</span></p><p></p><p>As a Lead on the Target UX team you will play a crucial role in driving the product development process, ensuring that our designs align with user needs, business objectives, and technological feasibility.</p><p></p><p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li><p><span>Participate in cross-functional design sprints to explore new guest experiences and technologies </span></p></li><li><p><span>Contribute to the development of future-state journeys and conceptual models through product design, prototyping and visual storytelling</span></p></li><li><p><span>Effectively facilitate multiple cross functional working teams and collaborate across multiple design and product teams</span></p></li><li><p><span>Create design deliverables representative of the design process phase – such as wireframes, user flows, UI design and prototypes</span></p></li><li><p><span>Guide design process and mentor junior designers</span></p></li><li><p><span>Hold design work to a high standard of craft, including accessibility, user research, information architecture, interaction design, visual design</span></p></li><li><p><span>Contribute to a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and human-centered practice </span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>About you:  </b></p><ul><li><p>7&#43; years experience as a product designer with a strong portfolio showcasing successful product design work</p></li><li><p>Advanced proficiency in product design and prototyping tools (i.e., in Figma, <span>Principle, Framer, Cursor, Lovable</span>)</p></li><li><p><span>Experience working in design sprints, early-stage concepting, or innovation labs</span></p></li><li><p>Advanced strategic problem-solving, systems thinking, and collaboration skills</p></li><li><p><span>Ability to balance creative exploration with practical delivery </span></p></li><li><p>Proven ability to effectively use data and insights to set your direction and communicate your approach</p></li><li><p><span>Excellent communication and storytelling skills—able to bring others along through your work</span></p></li><li><p><span>Comfortable working in ambiguity, contributing to complex challenges, and collaborating across teams </span></p></li><li><p><span>Passionate about inclusive design and creating joyful, purposeful experiences at scale </span></p></li></ul><p></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p>This position may be considered for a Remote or Hybrid (known internally at Target as \"Flex for Your Day\") work arrangement based on Target's needs.  A Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at a Target location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year.  A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member's core role may be performed either remote or onsite at a Target location depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
