    "description": "<h2>Description</h2>\n<p>Tyto Athene is searching for a <strong>Software Developer</strong> to support a DoD customer in Adelphi, Maryland.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>The Senior Software Developer is responsible for the development, support, and modernization of the CSSP's custom software portfolio, primarily deployed in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) infrastructure. </li>\n <li>This position leads software development efforts for critical cyber defense applications including Interrogator (GOTS network intrusion detection architecture), CSSP Subscriber Manager (CSM), RMF Writer, and other mission-essential tools supporting defensive cyber operations.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>A Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical field is required, however, can be replaced with 3 years of relevant industry experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience requirement).</li>\n <li>Minimum seven (7) years of software development experience.</li>\n <li>Expert proficiency in Python, PHP, JavaScript, C/C++, and/or Java.</li>\n <li>Experience with Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, and database design/management.</li>\n <li>Experience developing applications for RHEL and Linux environments.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of secure software development practices and DoD security requirements.</li>\n <li>Experience with Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) frameworks and data analytics.</li>\n <li>Proficiency with web application frameworks (Laravel, NodeJS, React, Angular).</li>\n <li>Experience with version control systems (Git, BitBucket) and CI/CD pipelines.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with Atlassian products (JIRA, BitBucket, Confluence) for project management and documentation.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation.</li>\n <li>Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).</li>\n <li>ITIL Foundations certification required within three (3) months of start date.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Certifications</strong>: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>IAT II: Security, CySA, SSCP, CCNA Security, GSEC, IAT III: CISSP, CASP+, CISA, GCED, GCIH </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Clearance: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>TS/SCI Clearance required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Location:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Adelphi, MD</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>About Tyto Athene</h2>\n<p><strong>Compensation:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position.
