Description
The LBT serves as a direct support and “go-to” between the team of RBTs and the remote BCBA (and in-house BCBA, as needed). To be successful in this role, you will display a compassionate nature, empathy and discretion in your work. You should have excellent communication and time management skills, and be able to develop and maintain relationships with clients, supervisors and colleagues. T his role is considered a leadership role, and you will be expected to demonstrate leadership qualities around confidentiality around the feedback and support you provide your fellow RBTs, support, redirect and address conflict and ability to remain solution focused . Given the LBS’s skillset, they will support other Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) providing direct implementation of behavior-analytic services and provide feedback and additional support to the case BCBA. The LBT does not design intervention or assessment plans. It is the responsibility of the BCBA to determine which tasks an RBT may perform as a function of his or her training, experience, and competence.

Demonstrates proficiency of clinical skills to be able to work with any client with the clinic.
Functions as a sub-technician to cover absences, as needed.
Will be able to host, model and support new hires within the session.
Will be able to provide additional in-session and remediation support for RBTs on in-house BCBA cases.
Will provide new hire performance feedback using established protocol
Follow the prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols.
Remain highly flexible with daily routine as this may change often.
Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
Utilize safe & appropriate handling procedures when working with clients.
Maintain client confidentiality.
Assist Behavior Analysts with skill acquisition and behavior reduction assessments as needed.
Assist Behavior Analysts, in preparing client materials as instructed.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment.
Maintain and acquire technical knowledge by attending required training.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide high quality direct client care in 1:1 and group settings (including picking up sub-sessions) utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training arrangements.
Maintains a minimum assigned caseload of no more than 20 hours per week, subject to fluctuation depending on clinic needs.
Adequately prepared for each session, to include starting sessions on time.
Accurately completes and converts session notes at end of session
Supports Remote BCBA’s by having a consistent rotation of planned overlaps of these RBT teams while in session. The LBT will overlap, actively engage in the program, observe the RBT implement the program, models appropriate sessions structure, program implementations, and data collection procedures. The LBT will provide feedback to the RBT while in session.
Collect competency data on the RBT to assess performance
Serve as a direct line of communication between RBT and Remote BCBA. Effectively and efficiently communicates observations suggestions, questions and concerns to the BCBA. The BCBA will make the ultimate decisions as far as programming and answering questions and concerns; however, with the Remote BCBA being offsite, the LBT will add an additional layer of support.
Will function as RBT Assistant Assessor to complete RBT Competency Assessment.

The LBT will overlap, actively engage in the program, observe the RBT implement the program, models appropriate sessions structure, program implementations, and data collection procedures. The LBT will provide feedback to the RBT while in session.\\r\\n\\tCollect competency data on the RBT to assess performance\\r\\n\\tServe as a direct line of communication between RBT and Remote BCBA. Effectively and efficiently communicates observations suggestions, questions and concerns to the BCBA.
