Participates in activities that ensure the safe and efficient provision of services to infant, adolescent, and adult patient populations, refers unusual clinical problems to the Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse. Duties shall be based on the PCT&rsquo;s recognized skill level. &nbsp;The position reports to the Director of the Emergency Department. &nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\"><strong><u>JOB QUALIFICATIONS</u></strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><strong>Minimum level of Education:</strong>&nbsp;</span><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\" id=\"isPasted\">Education level equivalent to completion of coursework from an NLN Accredited Registered Professional Nursing Program to equal a semester in a fundamentals of nursing course, or completion of a Patient Care Technician, Medical Assistant, Medical Specialist, phlebotomy or related field of advanced study preferred.</span></span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\"><strong>Formal Training:</strong>&nbsp;</span><span style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">First semester nursing clinical or verified on the job training (OJT) preferred.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\"><strong style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Licensure, Certifications &amp; Registration:</strong>&nbsp;</span><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\" id=\"isPasted\">BLS certification required.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\"><strong>Work Experience:</strong>&nbsp;</span><span style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;\">Basic knowledge of the nursing process.
