    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>LMI is seeking a<strong> Senior Technical Program Manage</strong>r<strong> (TPM)</strong> to lead the deployment and evolution of IronSled™ — LMI’s CMMC 2.0-certified DevSecOps platform — for a key federal defense customer. This is a high-visibility role at the intersection of modern software delivery, defense security requirements, and mission-critical infrastructure. <strong>This position requires an active Secret clearance.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>IronSled provides commercial software vendors and government development teams a government-grade, secure-by-default environment to build, scan, harden, and deploy software. The platform bridges the gap between commercial software velocity and federal accreditation requirements.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The TPM will serve as the senior technical lead and primary client-facing presence for the IronSled deployment, translating defense customer requirements into platform configuration, overseeing a deeply technical multi-disciplinary team, and bridging hands-on execution with senior non-technical leadership. Headquartered in Tysons, Virginia, LMI is committed to delivering impactful results that strengthen missions and drive lasting value.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Why This Role</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>You will be working on a platform that has already proven it can compress a 1-2 year ATO process to under two months — and your job is to keep doing that at scale.</li>\n <li>You will be the senior technical voice between a deeply capable engineering team and senior defense customer leadership — a rare opportunity to operate at both levels simultaneously.</li>\n <li>LMI invests in its platforms ahead of customer need, which means you’ll always be working with modern tooling rather than playing catch-up to legacy environments.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Serve as the primary technical lead for the IronSled deployment, coordinating DevSecOps platform delivery to ensure alignment with customer requirements, constraints, and mission priorities.</li>\n <li>Translate customer mission needs into IronSled platform configuration, pipeline architecture, and secure software delivery workflows.</li>\n <li>Combine deep technical expertise with strong stakeholder management skills to align senior defense leaders to platform-driven delivery approaches.</li>\n <li>Oversee the deployment and evolution of IronSled’s CI/CD pipelines, container infrastructure, vulnerability scanning, and ATO artifact generation while mitigating technical, security, and delivery risks.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with customer stakeholders to integrate IronSled into existing cloud, data, and enterprise IT environments.</li>\n <li>Develop and maintain technical documentation including system architectures, pipeline diagrams, and security workflow specifications.</li>\n <li>Provide technical guidance and advisory support to customer personnel and partner contractors.</li>\n <li>Stay current on DevSecOps tooling advancements, container security standards, and evolving DoD digital and cyber requirements.</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with customer cybersecurity, data governance, and software supply chain requirements.</li>\n <li>Manage project deliverables, financials, schedules, and team performance across the full solution lifecycle.</li>\n <li>Provide clear, regular status updates to senior customer leaders and LMI management.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Active Secret security clearance required.</li>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field preferred; Master’s degree highly desirable.</li>\n <li>Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, and cloud deployments, including security, cyber, and data infrastructure.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated experience implementing or managing DevSecOps platforms in enterprise or mission environments.</li>\n <li>Experience interfacing between hands-on technical teams and senior non-technical stakeholders, including creating and managing delivery roadmaps.</li>\n <li>Experience across AWS, Azure, and on-premises environments.</li>\n <li>Experience working directly with federal defense customers and defense contractors.</li>\n <li>Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical senior audiences.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Hands-on experience with DevSecOps toolchains: GitLab CI/CD, container registries, Kubernetes/EKS, Terraform, Helm.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools (Trivy, Grype, SonarQube, Veracode) and software supply chain security practices (SBOMs, Cosign, SLSA).</li>\n <li>Experience with FedRAMP, CMMC, DoD IL4/IL5, or ATO processes.</li>\n <li>Experience delivering software to classified or air-gapped networks.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with hardened container standards (Iron Bank, Chainguard, distroless images).</li>\n <li>Relevant certifications: Security+, Cloud+, CySA+, Solutions Architect, PMP, Scrum/Agile.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Target salary range: $145,000 - 200,000</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><em>Disclaimer:</em></strong> The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation.
