Our customers rely on our platform for some of their most critical infrastructure.</p><p><strong>Partner with the best</strong></p><p>Technical Account Managers work directly with customers to understand and address their greatest needs in API Security. Our customers rely on our platform to secure their APIs and proactively mitigate attacks. You'll help customers by problem-solving, being empathetic, thinking creatively, and understanding cybersecurity. You will drive customer impact by mapping APIs, assess exposure, showcase attack patterns and indicators of compromise.</p><p>As a Security Technical Account Manager II, you will be responsible for:</p><ul><li class=\"lst\">Familiarizing yourself with customer environments, requirements, and milestones in order to help drive value</li><li class=\"lst\">Building and maintaining professional relationships with decision-makers and owning the technical relationships with customers</li><li class=\"lst\">Performing technical customer presentations and demos and also identifying true positive attacks and showcasing to customers</li><li class=\"lst\">Serving as a product and application security SME supporting customers and communicating technical concepts with various audiences</li><li class=\"lst\">Providing customer feedback to product management on enhancement requests, escalations, and bugs to support teams as needed</li><li class=\"lst\">Explaining features and benefits to customers, while also providing updates on features, bug fixes, and product roadmaps</li></ul><p><strong>Do what you love</strong></p><p>To be successful in this role you will:</p><ul><li class=\"lst\">Have at least 5 years of experience and Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, related field or equivalent.</li><li class=\"lst\">Have security knowledge of API vulnerabilities and attacks, including OWASP Top 10 and OWASP API Top 10</li><li class=\"lst\">Demonstrate excellent knowledge and experience with a wide variety of cloud and cybersecurity solutions (specifically API security)</li><li class=\"lst\">Understand Application Security Principles and how to apply them in the app development process</li><li class=\"lst\">Have excellent listening skills with the ability to ask probing questions, understanding and anticipating the customer's priorities</li><li class=\"lst\">Demonstrate interpersonal skills with the ability of proactively identifying technical issues and driving solutions to technical problems</li></ul><p><strong>Work in a way that works for you</strong></p><p>FlexBase, Akamai's Global Flexible Working Program, is based on the principles that are helping us create the best workplace in the world.
