The Role We're looking for a User Acquisition Manager who thrives at the intersection of analytical rigor and creative experimentation. You'll own our performance marketing strategy and manage $2-3M in annual spend across established and emerging channels. This role requires someone who can build robust growth operating models and launch creative campaigns that cut through the noise. What You'll Do Growth Strategy & Operations Build and maintain our growth operating model, including bookings forecasting, target setting, and capital allocation across acquisition initiatives Own performance marketing spend across Meta (Facebook, Instagram), Google (Search, YouTube), and emerging channels like TikTok and Reddit Serve as the strategic partner between marketing and finance on media budgets, ensuring alignment on investment decisions and performance expectations Define measurement and incrementality frameworks that demonstrate true performance impact beyond vanity metrics Performance Marketing Execution Manage day-to-day performance across all paid acquisition channels, consistently hitting payback period targets Develop and test ad creative that drive meaningful improvements in cost per install and conversion rates Launch and scale new acquisition channels, moving quickly from test-and-learn to meaningful contribution Work with agencies and internal teams to optimize campaign performance and creative production Leverage AI tools (including Claude, generative creative tools, and analytics platforms) to improve efficiency and performance Cross-Functional Partnership Partner with Product to ensure acquisition strategies align with product roadmap and user experience Collaborate with Lifecycle Marketing to optimize the full funnel from acquisition through retention Help define performance go-to-market strategy, including incentive frameworks, add-on experiences, and renewal mechanics Bring an experimentation mindset to all initiatives, running structured tests and sharing learnings across the organization Analytics & Forecasting Analyze marginal ROI across channels to inform budget allocation decisions Forecast performance gaps and develop strategies to close them Master unit economics, including LTV:CAC ratios, payback periods, and contribution margin by channel Build dashboards and reporting that make complex performance data accessible to stakeholders What You Bring Required Experience 4-6 years of performance marketing experience with demonstrated results managing significant budgets ($1M+ annually) Proven track record of scaling user acquisition while maintaining or improving unit economics Deep expertise in Meta and Google advertising platforms, with experience launching and scaling emerging channels Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL, Excel/Google Sheets, and analytics platforms Experience building and testing ad creative that deliver measurable performance improvements Technical Capabilities AI-savvy: You understand how to leverage tools like Claude, ChatGPT, and generative AI to improve workflows and creative output Data-driven: You're comfortable with attribution modeling, incrementality testing, and statistical significance Growth-minded: You can build landing pages and microsites using tools like Lovable or similar no-code/low-code platforms Systems thinker: You understand how to build operating models that connect acquisition to broader business objectives Personal Attributes Both left-brain and right-brain: You can build a sophisticated financial model in the morning and workshop breakthrough creative concepts in the afternoon Entrepreneurial: You take ownership, move fast, and aren't afraid to test unconventional ideas Collaborative: You work effectively across Product, Finance, Lifecycle, and Creative teams Results-oriented: You're motivated by hitting targets and finding new ways to drive efficient growth Nice to Have Experience in health tech, wellness, or consumer subscription businesses Track record of growing a new business unit or product line from early stage to scale Experience managing or collaborating with creative agencies Background in conversion rate optimization and landing page testing Familiarity with incrementality testing methodologies (geo-testing, PSA testing, etc.) Why you’ll love working at Eli: You’ll work with a group of talented and mission-driven people eager to improve lifelong health at scale.
