Over 80 percent of the Company’s revenue comes from replacement / consumable products, many of which are specified into customer’s products or processes.We are on a mission to build something truly remarkable, we hope you join us!</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>The Union Maintenance Technician is a self-motivated team member who works to maintain and keep production machinery operating properly so that the site can continue on its mission for a safer, healthier, and more productive world. </p>\n<ul>\n <li>This person is a team player, who works with others to solve production machinery challenges and suggestions for long-term sustainable improvements.  </li>\n <li>Maintain & Repair production machinery.</li>\n <li>Excellent troubleshooting capabilities ( electrically,mechanically and electronically ), even when prints are not available.</li>\n <li>Maintain & Repair electronic controls on production & facility equipment.</li>\n <li>Disassembles the equipment and repairs/replaces the necessary parts.</li>\n <li>Test the machine following a repair to ensure the repair is complete.</li>\n <li>Perform Preventive & Predictive maintenance as required.</li>\n <li>Order replacement parts</li>\n <li>Follow blueprints and engineering specifications in the process of making repairs.</li>\n <li>Responsible for maintaining a clean work area.</li>\n <li>Responsible for cleaning work area after completing a repair to any equipment.</li>\n <li>Provide training to new employees added to the Maintenance Department.</li>\n <li>Create/Close Work Orders for Maintenance &/or Machine Shop</li>\n <li><strong><em>ISO 9001, 14001 and Environmental, Health and Safety Compliance</em></strong></li>\n <li>Operates all equipment in the prescribed manner</li>\n <li>Reports all safety concerns to Supervisor</li>\n <li>Maintain awareness of company policies</li>\n <li>Maintain awareness of company objectives for ISO 9001 and ISO 14001</li>\n <li>Support the Company’s continuous improvement initiatives</li>\n <li>Completes all tasks as assigned by Supervisor.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Let's take a look at the Qualifications: </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Associate Degree in Electronics or Journey Electrician.</li>\n <li>Experience working in a production environment, a minimum of 1-3 years.</li>\n <li>Mechanical experience and/or skills</li>\n <li>Experience working with PLC & Industrial Equipment Controls is a must. </li>\n <li>Proficient with MS Office</li>\n <li>Proven experience in being a great communicator </li>\n <li>Self-motivated team member-driven to see it, own it, solve it, do it, attitude. </li>\n <li>Proven problem-solving experience and success at thinking 'outside the box' </li>\n <li>Resourceful problem solver with proven ability to bring a quick resolution to challenging situations.</li>\n <li>Solid experience working with hand tools (snips, pliers, tweezers, screwdrivers, wrenches, tow welder, air knife, and razor blades).</li>\n <li>Continuous improvement mindset, we celebrate an inclusive environment (“You Belong Here”) and provide equal opportunity for development and advancement.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Benefits</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Starting pay of $41.15/hr and top pay of $45.15/hr (once training is completed)</li>\n <li>Company provided tools.</li>\n <li>8 hr.
