We have an exciting opportunity for you!&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Our people division is growing, and we are looking for an Underground Geotechnical Engineer I, II or III &nbsp;to join our team. &nbsp;The successful candidate will <span>perform work which involves visual inspections of the underground mining activities to identify rock hazards, provide recommendations and monitor excavation performance.</span></p>\n<p>At Nevada Gold Mines, our vision is to be the world’s most valued gold mining business by finding, developing, and operating the best assets with the best people. We are committed to a safe work environment sending every person home safe and healthy every day and leaving a sustainable legacy on our host communities.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Independently perform work which involves visual inspections of the underground mining activities to identify rock hazards, provide recommendations and monitor excavation performance.</li>\n <li>Ensure adherence to the Ground Control standards and maintain the ground support QA/QC program, such as rockbolt pull-testing and UCS of shotcrete and backfill.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Utilize rock mechanics properties to design ground support as needed.</li>\n <li>Collect, analyze and report on geotechnical monitoring data and maintain databases.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Review and advise on mine and stope designs.</li>\n <li>Assist with ground control safety training programs.</li>\n <li>Supervision of consultants and contractors, as necessary.</li>\n <li>The candidate will also periodically assist with geotechnical mapping underground and geotechnical core logging for specific drill programs.</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum requirement: B.S.
