    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Lee Montessori is seeking a School Psychologist to provide a full range of school psychological services to children in grades Pre-K3 through 6 under the direction of the Campus Special Education Directors. The focus of this position would determine the student’s eligibility for special services, appropriate programming, and ongoing progress. </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(49, 132, 155); font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Major Responsibilities</span><span style=\"color: rgb(49, 132, 155); font-size: 8pt; font-weight: bold\"> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Provides meaningful, helpful suggestions to school teams regarding behavior management, social skill development, conflict resolution, and instructional strategies.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Selects, administers, scores, and interprets approved individual psychological assessments, using instruments and procedures approved by Lee Montessori PCS to determine eligibility for special education services in accordance with regulatory requirements. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Prepares and completes evaluation reports utilizing the format approved by Lee Montessori PCS that provides meaningful data and recommendations to teachers and guardians.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Uploads assessment reports to the system upon completion and documents all due diligence efforts made.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Recommend appropriate interventions to strengthen academic and behavioral skills within the school setting. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Other duties as assigned.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(49, 132, 155); font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">The ideal candidate will: </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Have a doctorate in  School Psychology</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Certification as a School Psychologist.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Minimum of one-year full time school psychology experience.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Ability to administer, analyze psychological and educational assessments and write quality comprehensive reports.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Demonstrate effective communication skills and an ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Be committed to meeting the needs of a diverse student population, and committed to their own learning.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Have excellent time management skills, flexibility, and the ability to work independently/problem solve.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Adhere to a high level of professional and ethical standards.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Have a commitment to Lee Montessori’s mission and vision.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(49, 132, 155); font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Physical Requirements</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the classroom and school building.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds at a time. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Must be able to sit and stand on the floor throughout the day, and bend, kneel, or squat to be at eye level with children.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(49, 132, 155); font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">EEO Statement</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Lee Montessori Public Charter School strongly encourages women, people of color, LGBT individuals, people with disabilities, members of ethnic minorities, foreign-born residents, and veterans to apply.
