The Nuclear MC&amp;A Manager is responsible for ensuring that all Special Nuclear Material (SNM) used in the first of a kind process is in an authorized location for its appropriate use. Ideal candidates for this position will have a strong background in statistics, chemistry, or nuclear processing.</p><p>The MC&amp;A Manager will be responsible for developing the program and then implementing it nearly from the ground up. The MC&amp;A Manager is part of the engineering group but will also work closely with licensing, quality, operations, and chemistry staff.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The base salary range for this position is $103,500 - $126,500 per year plus a comprehensive compensation package. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.</p><p><br></p><p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Updating and implementing the MC&amp;A program in accordance with the MC&amp;A plan</li><li>Managing any exceptions to standard MC&amp;A practices due to the unique nature of the SHINE systems</li><li>Ensuring that records are prepared and maintained of all SNM&nbsp;</li><li>Ensuring that all SNM items received, shipped, and inventoried are measured&nbsp;</li><li>Ensuring the SHINE process can be performed in accordance with the MC&amp;A program</li><li>Working with other managers and technical staff to ensure they are cognizant of their MC&amp;A-related responsibilities&nbsp;</li><li>Reviewing and concurring on all written procedures that may relate to MC&amp;A activities as well as any revisions to those procedures&nbsp;</li><li>Assisting in the development of MC&amp;A training and ensuring that individuals performing MC&amp;A-related functions are trained and qualified&nbsp;</li><li>Identifying major MC&amp;A measurement systems and measurement points and administering the MC&amp;A measurement control program&nbsp;</li><li>Supervising the collection of data for the SNM physical inventory and ensuring that the data collected are complete and correct and submitted on time&nbsp;</li><li>Ensuring that MC&amp;A reports and notifications required by the NRC are submitted within the required time&nbsp;</li><li>Preparing MC&amp;A investigation reports of MC&amp;A irregularities and informing all affected groups within the organization of recommended corrective actions</li><li>Performing periodic verification of the facility configuration as it relates to MC&amp;A&nbsp;</li><li>Performing other duties as requested or assigned</li></ul><p><br></p>",
