    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><strong>Machining Lead</strong></span></p><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><p><strong>Summary:</strong>&nbsp; Set up and operate numerical control program machines to fabricate parts by performing the following duties. Lead, develop, train programmer(s) and operators.</p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES&nbsp;</strong>include the following:</p><ul><li>Mentor and supervise programmers.&nbsp;</li><li>Conduct training sessions for programmers and operators.</li><li>Stay updated on industry advancements to enhance the team&#39;s capabilities.&nbsp;</li><li>Ensure timely programming and set up for all new machine controls.</li><li>Collaborate closely with engineers and department supervisors to streamline processes.&nbsp;</li><li>Analyze drawings, sketches, and design data of part to determine dimension and configuration of cuts.</li><li>Determine reference points and direction of machine cutting paths.&nbsp;</li><li>Compute angular and linear dimensions, radii, and curvatures. Outlines sequence of operations required to machine part.&nbsp;</li><li>Prepare geometric layout on graph paper or using computer-assisted drafting software to show location of reference points and direction of cutting paths.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to write instruction sheets and cutter lists to guide setup and operation of machine.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to write programs of machine instructions in symbolic language to encode numerical control tape or direct numerical control database to regulate movement of machine along cutting path.</li><li>Compare encoded tape or computer printout with original program sheet to assure accuracy of machine instructions.&nbsp;</li><li>Revise program to eliminate instruction errors or omissions.&nbsp;</li><li>Observe operation of machine on trial run to prove taped or programmed instructions.</li><li>Regular attendance, ability to arrive at work punctually, ability to work on&ndash;site, ability to work overtime.</li><li>Ability to work cooperatively with others, ability to deal respectfully with the public, customers, vendors, other employees, managers, and executive management.</li><li>Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to interchange with others in the department.</li><li>Plan numerical control program to control contour path machining of metal parts on automatic machine tools.</li></ul><p><strong>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong>&nbsp;</p><p>Supervise all machining CNC programmers. Ensure all new machines are programmed and commissioned to schedule.</p><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS&nbsp;</strong></p><p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Minimum two years related experience or training.</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>LANGUAGE SKILLS</strong>&nbsp;</p><p>Ability to comprehend drawings, instructions, correspondents and memos in English. &nbsp;</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>MATHEMATICAL SKILLS</strong>&nbsp;</p><p>Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, volume and apply concepts of algebra and geometry. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>REASONING ABILITY</strong>&nbsp;</p><p>Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.</p><p><strong id=\"isPasted\">PHYSICAL DEMANDS</strong></p><p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
