The position is client-facing, serving external partners such as pharma manufacturers and telehealth providers whose prescriptions come into Gifthealth.</p><p>&nbsp;We are seeking an API Product Manager to support our product team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, operational excellence, and compliance standards.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Defines and drives the roadmap for our external API product</li><li>Supports integrations with pharma manufacturers and telehealth provider partners</li><li>Collaborates cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and commercial teams</li><li>Ensures the API experience meets the needs of external clients as we scale</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Education</strong>: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, marketing or related field OR equivalent practical experience (Required)</li><li><strong>Licensure/Certification</strong>: None</li><li><strong>Experience</strong>:&nbsp;    <ul>      <li>3+ years product management or technical experience (Required)</li>      <li>Experience owning a project end-to-end with meaningful trade-off decisions (Required)</li>      <li>Experience in pharmacy, healthcare, logistics, supply chain, or operations (Preferred)</li>      <li>Experience building products for non-technical or frontline users (Preferred)</li>      <li>Experience in regulated or high-stakes environments (Preferred)</li>    </ul></li><li><strong>Knowledge, Skills, &amp; Abilities</strong>: &nbsp;    <ul>      <li>Knowledge of product management principles; RESTful APIs, API specifications and integration patterns and practices; API gateways, developer portals, versioning, security (OAuth, JWT), and governance best practices to ensure scalable and secure API ecosystems; and HIPAA compliance requirements related to data management (Required)</li>      <li>Knowledge of healthcare data interchange standards (Preferred)</li>      <li>Cross-functional collaboration &amp; communication skills (Required)</li>      <li>Product strategy &amp; road mapping skills (Required)</li>      <li>Data analysis &amp; customer centric data-driven decision-making skills (Required)</li>      <li>Agile product lifecycle management skills (Preferred)</li>      <li>Ability to interpret API specifications and effectively collaborate with engineering peers to clarify requirements and ensure accurate implementation (Required)</li>      <li>Ability to utilize AI tools and methodologies throughout the product and engineering lifecycle to enhance efficiency, decision-making, and delivery outcomes (Preferred)</li>      <li>Ability to effectively operate in ambiguous environments and establish clear processes to drive structure, alignment, and execution (Preferred)</li>    </ul></li></ul><p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Location</strong>: Remote</li><li><strong>Schedule</strong>: 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday with night and weekend hours on occasion as determined by the needs of the business.</li><li>Regular meetings with Hub and pharmacy product, project management, and engineering teams.
