Please visit the tun.touro.edu/administration/human-resources website where you can see a comprehensive listing of optional benefits and Human Resources contact information.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<li>Performs general, routine custodial duties to ensure the campus meets TUN high cleaning standard. Work includes dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, restocking paper and soap supplies and checking supply levels.</li>\n<li>Performs routine maintenance to custodial equipment and supplies.</li>\n<li>Empties trash receptacles, disposes trash into dumpsters.</li>\n<li>Reports needs and concerns to Custodial Supervisor which may include submitting or recommending work orders.</li>\n<li>Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies.</li>\n<li>Adheres to safe working practices and safety programs.</li>\n<li>Assists in on-the-job training of new staff on routine procedures.</li>\n<li>Performs cleaning functions specific to the assigned facilities and/or based on seasonal/project requirements.</li>\n<li>May provide vendors with access to areas for cleaning and may answer basic questions.</li>\n<li>Basic understanding of Safety Data Sheets (SDS).</li>\n<li>Assist with event setups and other duties as directed.</li>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><em><u>Education:</u></em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or GED Required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em><u>Experience:</u></em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>2 years of custodial experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em><u>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:</u></em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Possession of a valid Nevada driver’s license</li>\n <li>Ability and clearance to drive company vehicles</li>\n <li>Ability to work varied shifts</li>\n <li>Ability to multi-task</li>\n <li>Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures</li>\n <li>Good customer service skills with a desire to exceed customer’s expectations</li>\n <li>Good interpersonal and communication skills</li>\n <li>Ability to use and experience with auto scrubbers</li>\n <li>Ability to use and experience with floor machines (buffers, KyVacs, etc.)</li>\n <li>Ability to use carpet machines</li>\n <li>Knowledge of custodial related chemicals and supplies</li>\n <li>Ability to climb ladders up to 8 ft. and feel comfortable with heights</li>\n <li>Ability to safely lift up to 30 lbs. regularly</li>\n <li>Ability to stand for long periods of time.</li>\n <li>Ability to bend, stoops, crouches, pushes, pulls, and reaches above shoulders in the performance of duties</li>\n <li>Basic understanding of Microsoft Office programs</li>\n</ul>",
