If you are seeking a dynamic industrial environment with opportunities for individual growth and learning, this is for you!</p>\n<p><strong>Position Details:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Site: </strong>CNRL Albian</p>\n<p><strong>Start Date:</strong> May 4, 2026</p>\n<p><strong>Hours: </strong>Temporary Full-time, Night Shift - 6/1 rotation at 12 hours per shift</p>\n<p>Flights are provided from Alberta hubs (Edmonton or Calgary), and camp accommodations!</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p><strong>Equipment & Inventory Management:</strong></p>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Ensure all tools, equipment, and gear are in good working condition and properly calibrated.</li>\n   <li>Maintain inventory control processes to manage stock levels and high-demand items.</li>\n   <li>Track and dispose of outdated stock while maintaining accurate inventory records.</li>\n   <li>Assist with conducting routine inspections of rope gear and equipment in compliance with IRATA and PETZL standards.</li>\n   <li>Assist employees in selecting supplies and equipment while monitoring and controlling inventory levels.</li>\n   <li>Maintain compliance with ISO or company-specific quality programs and ensure adherence to proper procedures.</li>\n  </ul><p><strong>Purchasing & Receiving:</strong></p>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Prepare order requisitions and obtain approvals for purchasing materials, equipment, and stock.</li>\n   <li>Reconcile inventory counts and verify receipts against purchase orders.</li>\n   <li>Receive, sort, and distribute goods to the appropriate locations or stock items in the tool crib.</li>\n   <li>Maintain records of orders, including quantity, type, and location of parts and supplies, using a manual or computerized inventory system.</li>\n   <li>Ensure the upkeep and maintenance of the tool crib.</li>\n   <li>Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop and training area.</li>\n  </ul><p><strong>Customer Service & Logistics:</strong></p>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Respond to verbal and electronic service and equipment requests.</li>\n   <li>Manage and schedule the flow of equipment and supplies to and from project sites.</li>\n   <li>Inspect and ensure maintenance needs (recertifications and repairs) are met.</li>\n   <li>Assist supervisors and managers with equipment planning for upcoming projects.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Grade 12 Diploma with a minimum of 2 years of experience in an industrial setting.</li>\n <li>Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in equipment maintenance and inspection.</li>\n <li>Solid knowledge of basic hand/trade tools, welding equipment, and related machinery.</li>\n <li>Experience in inventory management, logistics, or a related field.</li>\n <li>Ability to operate a forklift with a valid permit.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in computers and Microsoft programs, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.</li>\n <li>Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.</li>\n <li>Self-starter with a strong work ethic and ability to work alone when necessary.</li>\n <li>Ability to successfully complete all required safety training.</li>\n <li>IATA TDG certification and other safety-related training would be an asset.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<p>The strength of Tacten lies in its outstanding people.
