    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>JOB TITLE:</strong> Recycling Sorter&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>LOCATION:&nbsp;</strong>Santa Maria&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>FLSA EMPLOYMENT CLASSIFICATION:</strong> Non-Exempt</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>POSITION SUMMARY</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The Recycling Sorter is responsible for sorting materials, such as organic waste and general debris, from the tip floor. This role helps ensure proper disposal and recycling efficiency and environmental compliance.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</strong> include but are not limited to the following:</p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Manually sort material, cardboard, plastics, metal, glass, and trash by hand from the tip floor into designated bins.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Remove non-acceptable items from recyclable materials and green waste.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist coworkers as needed with heavy or bulky items.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist in loading and unloading materials when needed.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain a clean work area and keep it free of debris.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Attend weekly safety meetings.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to adhere to work schedule.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Completes special projects as may be assigned and prioritized by the on-site manager.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Safely perform duties in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.</li><li>Comply with OSHA regulations when using hazardous chemicals on company premises; comply with company safety regulations.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong> To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
