We also provide attractive working conditions and opportunities for career growth through professional development.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Discover why Cooper University Health Care is the employer of choice in South Jersey.</strong></p>\n<h2>Short Description</h2>\n<p><strong>Offering $55/hr for Registered Cardiac Sonographer II PRN</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Required to work Saturdays and Sundays for 10 hr shifts</li>\n <li>Obtain 2D and 3D echocardiograms with color and Spectral Doppler in the echo lab and at the bedside of high patient acuity. Imaging patients on ventilators, ECMO and Impella</li>\n <li>Perform Stress Echocardiograms and Dobutamine Stress Echocardiograms as requested.</li>\n <li>Assist Cardiologist with TEE, Pericardial Centesis, and code coverage.</li>\n <li>Support sonography training across multiple disciplines (physicians, fellows, students, etc.).</li>\n <li>Recognize the need for agitated saline and contrast agents, IV insertion if necessary.</li>\n <li>Cultivates a collaborative and cooperative work environment within department\n  <ul>\n   <li>Level II per diem sonographers are required to work nine (9) weekend shifts per 6 week schedule</li>\n   <li>Weekends are defined as Saturdays or Sundays. Must schedule themselves for the full shift, as assigned, in order to meet these work requirements</li>\n   <li>Weekday shifts pro-rated to level 1 per diem rate</li>\n   <li>Must work two (2) holiday shifts per year (1) winter and one (1) summer</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Experience Required</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Seeking an individual who has at least 1 year experience.</li>\n <li>Proof of required clinical hours from an accredited formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovasular Technology</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Education Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Graduate of an accredited formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Technology Program is required</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>License/Certification Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Must obtain ARDMS or CCI certifications for Adult Echocardiography as a required by each entity within 6 months of employment</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Special Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>7a-5:30p or 6a-4:30p Saturday and Sunday</li>\n <li>10 hour shift--9 weekend shifts in a 6 week period</li>\n <li>no on call requirement </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Salary Min ($)</h2>USD $34.00\n<h2>Salary Max ($)</h2>USD $56.00",
