Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities for this Position</h2>\n<p>General Dynamics Mission Systems has a need for a Senior Engineering Program Manager located in Bloomington, MN.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Duties and Tasks:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Leads the planning and ensures monitoring and control for assigned development programs</li>\n <li>Responsible for Cost, Schedule, and Technical performance for all engineering efforts </li>\n <li>Ensures all project deliverables are developed with high quality and delivered on time</li>\n <li>Manages the engineering related risks and opportunities of the program</li>\n <li>Conducts monthly Engineering Status Reviews</li>\n <li>Manages the resolution of technical issues</li>\n <li>Ensures that team members are recognized for their contributions</li>\n <li>Takes immediate & decisive action in dealing with technical & performance issues</li>\n <li>Assists in Proposal and ROM development</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>5 years project management experience leading hardware and software development teams</li>\n <li>3 years technical experience; preferrably with embedded systems</li>\n <li>Significant experience using Microsoft Project</li>\n <li>Knowledge of waterfall and agile methodologies</li>\n <li>Proven organizational and time management skills</li>\n <li>Proven communication skills</li>\n <li>Strong leadership & mentoring skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What sets you Apart </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>PMP Certification</li>\n <li>High impact leader know for getting things done</li>\n <li>Agile/scrum master experience</li>\n <li>EVMS experience</li>\n <li>Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#LI-Hybrid</p>\n<h2>Salary Note</h2>This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.).
