These pillars form the foundation of our company-wide commitment to sustainability, helping us achieve our ambitious goals through our wide-ranging initiatives.</p>\n<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p><strong></strong></p>\n<p><strong>Compensation: </strong>$21.59 an hour - paid weekly</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Shift Available:</strong>  Days Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>ROLE:</strong> Responsible for loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving of all in and outbound materials, parts, supplies, etc.; logging and delivering to designated person or area as required. Employees with this title will general focus on one of these two functional areas: warehouse and material handling.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p>\n<p>· Unload/Load all inbound/outbound shipments – boxes, bags, miscellaneous parts and supplies after checking loaded trailer wheels for chocks</p>\n<p>· Verify packing lists by counting items received, sign packing list date and enter into SAP.</p>\n<p>· Deliver to designated person/area in each department daily; air freight or emergency shipments delivered promptly and forward all packing lists to purchasing</p>\n<p>· Place cartons/bags in proper location in the warehouse and stock carton staging area as needed</p>\n<p>· Maintain carton storage area</p>\n<p>· Deliver cartons and bags to production staging area as needed</p>\n<p>· Perform periodic cycle counts of cartons and bags as requested</p>\n<p>· Prepare shipments as required with proper packing lists attached</p>\n<p>· Complete a physical count of in-house parts after each a production run of that part. (This should be completed immediately after, what is thought to be, the last case of that production run is completed.)</p>\n<p>· Trained in various SAP functions to perform in the Team Leader’s absence</p>\n<p>· Other duties as necessary.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:</strong></p>\n<p>Communication/Teamwork:</p>\n<p>· Ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally and work closely and productively as part of a cross functional team</p>\n<p>· Ability to create and/or exhibit an atmosphere of openness, honesty, trust, and teamwork</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Safety:</strong></p>\n<p>· Demonstrates ability to understand and actively participate in all company safety programs, policies and procedures</p>\n<p>· Demonstrates ability to safety load and unload materials to/from designated storage areas; racks and shelves, or</p>\n<p>vehicles</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Quality/Housekeeping:</strong></p>\n<p>· Ability to develop and maintain processes that are ISO compliant</p>\n<p>· Can demonstrate ability to maintain work area in clean, safe order</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Operate Equipment:</strong></p>\n<p>· Ability to operate motorized equipment and other peripheral equipment safely and efficiently as required</p>\n<p>· Ability to feed and operate grinder without jamming or damaging grinder system</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Inventory Control/Management:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>· Can demonstrate ability to accurately count, weigh, and record number of units of materials moved or handled, using daily production sheet or work ticket</p>\n<p>· Can demonstrate proper techniques used to arrange materials/items in specified sequence for assembly and/or distribution</p>\n<p>· Demonstrates ability to accurately post data from one source to another in ERP or peripheral software systems</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Organization:</strong></p>\n<p>· Demonstrates ability to be a self starter and work independently to complete assignments/responsibilities</p>\n<p>· Demonstrates ability to organize and prioritize workload as required</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:</strong></p>\n<p>· High school diploma or equivalent experience</p>\n<p>· Basic math and computer skills</p>\n<p>· Forklift certification/license</p>\n<p>· Good oral and written communication skills</p>\n<p>· Strong organizational skills</p>\n<p>· Pretest ability to lift 75 lbs</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>ADA – ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</strong></p>\n<p>Must be able to:</p>\n<p>· Climb approved ladders and moveable steps</p>\n<p>· Heed safety warnings, devices and alarms</p>\n<p>· Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing</p>\n<p>· Lift and carry products weighing up to 50 lbs. Occasional lifts up to 75 lbs.
