    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The CCI Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial health of Chumash Capital Investments (CCI) portfolio companies. This individual contributor role provides financial insights, ensures compliance, supports fiscal responsibility, and collaborates with management to align with investment goals. The role also serves as a liaison between CCI companies and the Chumash Enterprises Finance Shared Services team, and participates in special projects as needed.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This role and its function are part of the Finance shared services model. A Team Member in a shared service structure, works within a dedicated business unit (including people, processes, and technologies) that is structured as a centralized point of service and is focused on defined business functions. These units typically serve multiple business groups enterprise wide, and typically have established Service Level Agreements.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Oversees cash flow positions, borrowing needs, and available funds for investment.</li>\n <li>Monitors and evaluates financial and operational performance of portfolio companies, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.</li>\n <li>Supports budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning with business leadership.</li>\n <li>Partners with management teams to track KPIs and operational initiatives, ensuring alignment with value-creation plans.</li>\n <li>Develops standardized reporting packages, dashboards, and analysis for internal stakeholders and investors.</li>\n <li>Conducts benchmarking, and scenario modeling to assess business performance and strategic outlook for current or new acquisitions.</li>\n <li>Reviews monthly investment data on tribal investment funds and complete quarterly performance reports.</li>\n <li>Prepares internal, external, and Fund Committee meeting materials.</li>\n <li>Monitors treasury/bank accounts, trades, and settlements of stocks and bonds, and real estate and mutual fund transactions from third-party managers.</li>\n <li>Evaluates enterprise contracts for financial terms and conditions.</li>\n <li>Contributes to strategic initiatives such as new acquisitions, working capital optimization, or exit readiness.</li>\n <li>Serves as a point of contact for audit activities, tax filings, and compliance documentation.</li>\n <li>Provides detailed analysis related to real estate finance, including asset performance and reporting.</li>\n <li>Work on special projects as assigned.</li>\n <li>Upholds a work environment that promotes teamwork, partnership, recognition, mutual respect, and collaboration, while role modeling the company values, behaviors, and culture of One.Team.Chumash. </li>\n <li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. </li>\n <li>Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation is a plus.</li>\n <li>Seven years of progressive finance/accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.</li>\n <li>Extensive experience in financial reporting, accounting principles, and internal controls.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with manufacturing, property accounting, or real estate industries highly preferred.</li>\n <li>Strong financial modeling, valuation, and data visualization skills.</li>\n <li>Skilled in ERP and financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, Cognos, Anaplan, Power BI).</li>\n <li>Advanced proficiency in computers, including Microsoft Office, email, and Internet. </li>\n <li>Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency.</li>\n <li>Native American hiring preference applies.</li>\n <li><strong>Financial Awareness</strong> Actively seeking opportunities to optimize financial costs and investments when making decisions that have a financial implication.</li>\n <li><strong>Planning and Organizing </strong>Setting priorities and defining actions, time, and resources needed to achieve predefined goals.</li>\n <li><strong>Data Gathering and Analytics </strong>Collecting, consolidating, and using relevant information; recognizing important information; tracing possible causes of problems, and searching for practical data/solutions.</li>\n <li><strong>Oral Communication</strong> Shaping and expressing ideas and information in an effective manner.</li>\n <li><strong>Written Communication</strong> Expressing ideas and opinions clearly in properly structured, well organized, and grammatically correct reports or documents; utilizing language and terminology that is understandable for the reader.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Location</h2>585 McMurray Road\n<h2>Minimum Pay Rate</h2>$114,289 annually\n<h2>Maximum Pay Rate</h2>$142,861 annually",
