Paid time off is earned according to the local policy and increases with the length of employment.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Click <u>HERE</u> to learn more about our Day 1 Benefits, 401k Program, Company Perks, Career Opportunities, Advancement Programs, Scholarships and more!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>WE LOVE OUR WORK.</h2>\n<strong>What does Hollywood Casino St. Louis have to offer?</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Day 1 medical, dental, & vision benefits!</li>\n <li>Uber benefit for nearby metro stops.</li>\n <li>Recognition programs with cash rewards, gift cards, & more.</li>\n <li>Tuition Reimbursement, Lindenwood University Discounts, & Diversity Scholarship for Team Member’s children.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>As a<strong> Baker</strong>,<strong> </strong>you will:</p>\n<p><em>Pay: $18.00 per hour | Start Time Varies Between: 6:00 am - 8:00 am </em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for the production and decorating of all baked and finished goods for property outlets. </li>\n <li>Follows standard, established recipes by weighing, mixing, proofing, baking and finishing baked products. </li>\n <li>Ability to produce individual pastries, cake, pies, plated desserts, breads, cookies, pies, etc. and to decorate by set standards set forth by the company. </li>\n <li>Ability to mix, form and bake formulas accurately so that a consistent product is made each and every time and to trouble shoot when item is not correct. </li>\n <li>Ability to follow an order form and forecast the necessary ingredients needed for the following day. </li>\n <li>Prepares pans for the baking process while loading and unloading ovens. </li>\n <li>Able to operate the following: scale, upright mixer, steam kettle, stove, sheeter, glaze machine, confectionary machines, heat lamps, deep fryers, broiler, basic hand tools, etc.  </li>\n <li>Ability to oversee a workstation based on par levels, occupancy, and reservations within food outlets while maintaining quality. </li>\n <li>Maintains and rotates dated food stock for quality assurance.  </li>\n <li>Able to provide relief for Sous Chefs while providing assistants in all kitchen areas and other duties as assigned. </li>\n <li>Maintains assigned station in a clean and sanitary condition in accordance with department service standards and job functions. </li>\n <li>Recognizes and corrects any product discrepancies and variations in quality, standards and specifications. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>BRING US YOUR BEST.</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Applicant <strong>must be at least 18 years</strong> of age.</li>\n <li>Must have knowledge of kitchen sanitation, operation, and maintenance of kitchen/bakery equipment.</li>\n <li>Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift, including holidays and weekends.</li>\n <li>Must pass background check.</li>\n <li>Must be able to bend, twist, turn, push, and pull a minimum of 100 lbs. in a cart.</li>\n <li>Must be able to reach above and below the shoulder while carrying a minimum of 50 ibs.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of proper pastry bag, cake decorating skills, piping techniques, and knife and spatula techniques.</li>\n <li>Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time and/or entire shift.</li>\n <li>Flexibility in fingers and hands to utilize kitchen/bakery equipment, bottles/glasses/knives/etc.</li>\n <li>Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.</li>\n <li>Familiar with all phases and operations of the Bakery and able to have a sense of urgency and react to changing business demands.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>STAY IN THE GAME.
