    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>Shift: Per Diem, Various Days and Shifts</p>\n<p>Job Description</p>\n<p>Creative Arts Therapist is a person who holds a Master's Degree in art, music, drama, or dance therapy. A creative arts therapist is responsible for providing a variety of therapeutic services to a diverse population using art, music, movement and/or drama to enhance the emotional and mental wellbeing of individuals. As a member of therapeutic services, a creative arts therapist is also responsible for the assessment, treatment planning and documentation of the assigned clients as part of the interdisciplinary treatment team.</p>\n<p>Job Responsibility</p>\n<p>1.Participate in the interdisciplinary treatment team meeting and development of the treatment plan as it relates to the use of creative arts and therapeutic rehabilitation services.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>2.Demonstrate competency in use of materials/modalities to facilitate self-expression, to facilitate healing and enhance function.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>3.Demonstrates professional competency in group, individual therapies.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>4.Assists with department Performance Improvement activities&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Identifies areas of needed training and development specific to the Creative Arts practice.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p>5.Demonstrates awareness of evidence based practices in creative arts and related fields.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>6.Performs related duties, as required.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>*ADA Essential Functions</p>\n<p>Job Qualification</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Master's Degree in Creative Arts Therapy&nbsp;</li>\n <li>New York State license required or limited permit&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Completed an internship in a behavioral health setting, or previous work experience in a behavioral health setting.&nbsp;<br>\n   &nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>*Additional Salary Detail</strong><br>\n  The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
