    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>Fortinet is calling for an experienced Embedded Software Developer who can think outside the box, has a logical approach to coding, and looking to grow their career in the network security industry.&nbsp;This individual will be working on the FortiManager, the centralized device management product, that configures the FortiGate.&nbsp;This team is expanding and looking for a developer who is passionate about C programming.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop, design and test the software for FortiManager</li>\n <li>Hands-on in bug fixing</li>\n <li>Maintain and document code using source control system</li>\n <li>Maintenance, performance tuning, and support of implemented software or firmware products</li>\n <li>Implement&nbsp;new features according to identified specs</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Job Skills Required</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>1-3 years' C/C++ work experience</li>\n <li>Experience with TCP/IP, Firewall, UTM</li>\n <li>Knowledge of embedded security features and best practices</li>\n <li>Software development experience in Unix/Linux environment</li>\n <li>Capable of switching focus in various situations and applying themselves to quickly learning new technologies and adopting new methodologies</li>\n <li>Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills</li>\n <li>Relational database skills is an asset</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Educational Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's Degree (Masters or PhD is an asset)&nbsp;in Computer Science or similar degree.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $135,000 - $190,000 annually. &nbsp;Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level. &nbsp;Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate’s subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, and experience.</p>\n<p>Fortinet strives to provide you and your family with a comprehensive benefits package.
