What You’ll Bring You will hold a valid BC teaching certificate and bring demonstrated experience teaching Science and Chemistry at the senior school level. IB training and experience teaching within the DP framework would be strong assets. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong foundation in inquiry-based and project-based learning, with the ability to design engaging, relevant, and intellectually challenging learning experiences that foster critical thinking, global mindedness, and student agency. You will bring creativity, curiosity, and innovation to your practice, alongside a reflective mindset and commitment to continuous professional growth. Additionally, you will bring a thoughtful and responsive approach to differentiating your instruction to support the diverse learning needs of all students, along with a genuine commitment to educating the whole student. This position calls for a collaborative and forward-thinking educator who thrives in a dynamic learning environment, values interdisciplinary connections, and contributes positively to a culture of innovation, collegiality, and student-centered learning.
