    "description": "<h2>Position Summary</h2>\n<p><strong></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Acuren</strong> is currently seeking an <strong>NDT Level 2+ Technician</strong> to support projects in the <strong>Pacific Region</strong>, specifically <strong>Langley, BC</strong>. </p>\n<p>If you’re looking for a dynamic industrial environment with opportunities for professional growth and skill development, this is the opportunity for you. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Start date: March 2026</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Position will be up to 30-40 hrs./week</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Rate will be up to $39.56 to 57.36/hr. depending on certifications</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p><strong>Perform Non-Destructive Testing</strong> – Conduct inspections using methods such as ultrasonic (UT), radiographic (RT), magnetic particle (MT), liquid penetrant (PT), or eddy current (ET) according to established procedures and standards.</p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Interpret and Evaluate Results</strong> – Analyze test data and results, identify discontinuities or defects, and determine if they meet applicable codes, standards, or client specifications.</p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Prepare Reports and Documentation</strong> – Accurately document inspection results, maintain records, and generate reports for review by Level 3 technicians or engineering personnel.</p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Maintain Equipment and Ensure Compliance</strong> – Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot NDT equipment, and ensure all testing is performed safely and in accordance with industry codes and regulatory standards.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<p><strong>Certification Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>CGSB Level 2 Certifications required:\n  <ul>\n   <li>CGSB Ultrasonic Testing UT2 Certification </li>\n   <li>Magnetic Particle Testing MT2 CGSB Certification </li>\n   <li>Liquid Penetrant Testing PT2 CGSB Certification </li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>IRATA training or willingness to obtain is an asset</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Other Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Reside locally to Langley, BC or willing to relocate.</li>\n <li>Strong work ethics</li>\n <li>Ability to maintain positive working relations with clients</li>\n <li>Exceptional safety and quality awareness </li>\n <li>Ability to solve problems and manage time effectively</li>\n <li>Be able to communicate clearly in writing and verbally (English).</li>\n <li>Self-motivated and capable of working at a high technical and performance level</li>\n <li>Possess a valid driver’s license minimum (Class 5) with a clean driving record.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<p>The strength of Acuren lies in its outstanding people.
