There’s opportunity around every corner and the support to help you achieve your goals.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About the role:</span></p>\n<p>The Payroll Officer is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for all employees in the organisation's global operations. This role requires a deep understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements in multiple jurisdictions, as well as strong analytical skills and attention to detail.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>The Payroll Officer will work closely with the Payroll team and collaborate with People &amp; Culture and Finance teams to ensure payroll data is accurate and up-to-date and will work to continuously improve payroll processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you will do:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Process global payroll for all employees in a timely and accurate manner.</li>\n<li>Prepare month end duties as required across the jurisdictions.</li>\n<li>Verify all data entered into the payroll system for accuracy and completeness.</li>\n<li>Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll and benefits.</li>\n<li>Assist in the preparation of payroll reports and analysis as needed.</li>\n<li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee payroll records.</li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with PCP to ensure accurate processing of employee benefits and deductions.</li>\n<li>Assist with payroll-related audits and provide necessary documentation as requested.</li>\n<li>Review and implement payroll process to improve accuracy, efficiency and compliance.</li>\n<li>Perform other duties as assigned by management.</li>\n<li>Maintain up to date knowledge of relevant statutory requirements, laws and regulations.</li>\n<li>Provide updates on all Payroll statutory changes including tax and superannuation/pension changes to Global Payroll Lead and Manager.</li>\n<li>Provide ad hoc analysis as required.</li>\n<li>Have a voice for safety and use it.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Who you are:</span></p>\n<p><em>Essential</em></p>\n<ul>\n<li>2+ years’ experience processing payroll for a company of greater than 250 people in more than one jurisdiction</li>\n<li>Experience with payroll systems (Global Payroll is desirable)</li>\n<li>Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of payroll related regulations including tax, superannuation and Fair Work Act</li>\n<li>Accurate and efficient data entry</li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills</li>\n<li>The ability to work independently and as part of a team</li>\n<li>Experienced EXCEL user</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>Desirable</em></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in process improvement including implementation of new systems highly desirable</li>\n<li>Experience with shadow payroll</li>\n<li>Familiarity with new country entry for payroll and employees </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Who we are (Our values):</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Safety is a Non-Negotiable</span> - Safety isn’t just a value — it’s our way of life.
