    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>QuarterLine (QL), a Planned Systems International (PSI) company, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Audiology Technician to join the Occupational Medical Services healthcare team at Tinker Air Force Base, OK. The selected candidate will perform audiology support duties in a DoD clinical environment, including hearing screenings, audiometric testing support, patient history intake, equipment preparation, and accurate documentation in accordance with contract requirements, facility protocols, and applicable regulatory standards.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This role requires a dependable healthcare professional who can meet government qualifications, credentialing, security, and onboarding requirements while working effectively under a personal services arrangement. The ideal candidate will bring recent audiology technician or related health sciences experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to supporting mission readiness and high-quality care for service members and eligible patient populations.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Duty Location: </strong>Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma. No Telework allowed.</li>\n <li><strong>Duty Hours<em>:</em></strong> Monday - Friday, 0700 - 1600. \n  <ul>\n   <li><em>No Overage, No OT.</em></li>\n   <li><em>Not required to work Holidays.</em></li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist audiologists in conducting hearing tests and evaluations for patients of all ages.</li>\n <li>Prepare and maintain audiometric equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality before use.</li>\n <li>Conduct basic hearing screenings and assist with diagnostic audiometric testing under supervision.</li>\n <li>Perform patient interviews to collect relevant medical and hearing history information.</li>\n <li>Provide patient education regarding hearing care, hearing aid maintenance, and auditory health.</li>\n <li>Document test results accurately in both written and electronic medical records according to established protocols.</li>\n <li>Assist in fitting, adjusting, and maintaining hearing aids and other assistive listening devices.</li>\n <li>Recognize urgent audiological conditions and refer patients promptly to the audiologist or healthcare provider.</li>\n <li>Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of audiology instruments and supplies.</li>\n <li>Participate in clinic orientation and training programs as required.</li>\n <li>Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to support comprehensive patient care.</li>\n <li>Adhere to infection control policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements to ensure a safe work environment.</li>\n <li>Communicate professionally and courteously with patients, families, and healthcare staff.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Minimum Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Degree/Education:</strong> Graduate from an accredited college or vocational program in audiology technology or related health sciences approved by the appropriate State agency.</li>\n <li><strong>Experience:</strong> Minimum of two (2) years of audiology technician experience in a primary care setting within the past five (5) years.</li>\n <li><strong>Legal Authorization to Work in the United States:</strong> The contract worker performing under this contract must be a U.S. Citizen.</li>\n <li><strong>Licensure: </strong>Current certification or licensure as required by state regulations or professional accrediting bodies for audiology technicians.</li>\n <li><strong>Certification(s):</strong> Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross. Certification cards must display the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross. Web-based (on-line) classes are not acceptable by the Government.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Desired Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Previous experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) or Military Treatment Facility (MTF) environment.</li>\n <li>Experience in occupational medicine, primary care, or ambulatory care settings.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with electronic medical record systems and military healthcare operations.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Additional Information</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Occupational Health: The contract worker shall be required to obtain documentation of required physical testing or a report of a physical examination.</li>\n <li>Tuberculosis Screening: The Contractor ensure contract workers shall be screened for tuberculosis (TB).</li>\n <li>Health Requirements.
