          "text": "<p>As the <strong>Billing Team Lead</strong>, you will report to the Head of Finance and act as a <strong>bridge between Finance and Operations</strong>. You will lead a team of billing agents whose work mirrors that of Project Accountants, overseeing the entire lifecycle of project financials—from time and material tracking to revenue recognition.</p><p>You will be responsible for ensuring that our billing is not only accurate and timely but also compliant with sophisticated accounting principles.</p><p><u>Key Responsibilities:</u></p><p>· <strong>Team Leadership</strong>: Supervise and mentor a team of billing agents, ensuring high performance in invoicing, project cost accounting, and cash application.</p><p>· <strong>Project Accounting &amp; Revenue Management</strong>: Oversee complex accounting tasks including Work in Progress (WIP) analysis, revenue cut-off procedures, and the management of revenue deferrals and accruals.</p><p>· <strong>Data Integrity &amp; Analysis</strong>: Review project data to spot discrepancies in billable time and expenses. Conduct deep-dive analyses to correct errors before they impact the P&amp;L.</p><p>· <strong>Consultant &amp; Stakeholder Support</strong>: Act as the primary point of escalation for Billing Agents and Project Managers regarding contract terms, budget tracking, and complex billing inquiries.</p><p>· <strong>Full Cycle Accounts Receivable</strong>: Oversee the AR function carried out by billing agents, including the accurate matching of cash receipts to invoices and the proactive clearing of aging AR.</p><p>· <strong>System Optimization</strong>: Serve as the functional expert for our ERP system and ensure accurate and timely flow of information to our financial system&#xa0;</p><p>· <strong>Process Improvement</strong>: Identify opportunities to improve billing workflows, strengthen controls, and increase overall efficiency across the team</p>",
