    "requisitionDescription": "<p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\">The hostler is an hourly position and reports to assigned shift shipping supervisor. The Hostler is responsible and accountable for the operation of motorized equipment to move tankers and/or trailers as directed.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><em>Responsibilities</em></strong>:&nbsp;</p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Operate motorized equipment to move tankers/trailers; fuel equipment as needed.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform daily maintenance checks and report any malfunctions to the garage.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Couple / uncouple tractor-trailer units; connect/disconnect brake lines safely.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Shuttle tankers/trailers from staging areas to various loading areas (dock, door, platform).</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Anticipate trailer needs and move tankers/trailers according to business needs.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform required trailer inventories and temperature checks and report any discrepancies.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Secure all equipment and complete all necessary paperwork at the end of the shift.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Follow all safety and security policies and procedures,&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Follow all food safety and quality system requirements by committing to meet all pertinent, regulatory, customer and Safe Quality Foods (SQF) requirements.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain reliable attendance and consistent work hours.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><em>Qualifications</em></strong><em>&nbsp;<strong>and</strong> <strong>Experience</strong>:</em></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to read, write, perform basic mathematical calculations, and accurately record data.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts, as required.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Excellent customer service and verbal and written communication skills are required.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be organized and detail oriented.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to work independently.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Great communication skills: however, bilingual skills may be preferred based on business necessity.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Minimum age: 18</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><em>Certification/Licenses/Registrations:</em></strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Valid driver&rsquo;s license is required.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><em>Physical Demand/Working Conditions</em></strong><em>:</em></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">May be required to lift, carry, lower 1-50lbs from a height of approximately seven feet to the ground and back continually for the duration of the shift.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to work in both very hot (more than 100 degrees) and very cold (less than 20 degrees</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">below zero) and in a very wet and humid environment for extended periods of time. Exposed to noise/vibration, and chemicals.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Required to Stand, walk, climb, bend, twist, push and pull, and reach at, above and below the shoulder.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Repetition-Hand/Wrist Simple Grasping, Firm grasping.</li></ul></div><p><em>I understand the description of this job and the essential functions, as given above.
