Successful candidates will have a once-in-a-career opportunity to be a part of our new Residential Center for Healing and Resilience, a 64-bed psychiatric residential treatment facility (PRTF) for youth at our beautiful 258-acre Hands of Promise Campus in Idaho’s Treasure Valley.</p><p><br></p><p>The Youth Care Provider gives direct supervision of daily living and individualized learning plans of the youth in our care.</p><p><br></p><p>Our Youth Care Providers:</p><ul><li>Provide care and supervision to youth residents</li><li>Help with youth orientation</li><li>Guide and support youth in carrying out daily activities such as morning routines, chores, homework, meal times, group activities and evening routines</li><li>Implement behavior support techniques</li><li>Provide a consistent, safe and supportive environment to help youth manage behavioral and emotional responses</li><li>Builds positive relationships with youth by providing a consistent, supportive presence and engaging youth in ways that demonstrate respect, care and belief in their potential</li></ul><p>Must Haves:</p><ul><li>Must be 21 years of age</li><li>Must possess High School diploma or equivalent</li><li>Must have a valid Idaho driver’s license or obtain one within 15 days of hire</li></ul><p>Preferred:</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in related field</li><li>Some experience working directly with youth</li><li>Some experience working in a clinical setting providing direct client care</li><li>Some experience working in a youth residential setting</li></ul><p><br></p><p>This position would work 5/8 hour shifts from 2:45p - 11p, and will include both weekend days</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What do we offer?</strong> &nbsp;In addition to contributing to our awesome mission, working at IYR has many advantages!
