In this role, you will be responsible for:</p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Manage all part-time staff on site, including skate rental employees, skate guards and maintenance positions. Reports performance to full-time supervisor.</li>\n\t<li>Regular ice maintenance including cutting the ice, shoveling the dump-tank snow into the pit, changing the propane tanks, and other general Zamboni maintenance</li>\n\t<li>Clean the interior of the building thoroughly (moping the floor/stands, washing windows, wiping walls, cleaning bathrooms, sinks, etc.)</li>\n\t<li>Perform set-up and tear-down of tables and chairs for programs and special events</li>\n\t<li>Perform all seasonal work assignments (e.g. snow removal, salting, ice rink maintenance, etc.)</li>\n\t<li>Take care of the skate rental (e.g. exchanging the skates from the racks for shoes from the customer and accepting cash and credit transactions.)</li>\n\t<li>Provide attention to the general public including handling questions and complaints responding to accident/incidents, etc.</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p> <br />\n<strong>QUALIFICATIONS: </strong>The ideal candidate will be reliable with previous experience managing part-time staff or facilities, knowledgeable of ice arena operations and driving an ice resurfacer preferred. Must be at least 18 years old.<br />\n <br />\n<strong>SCHEDULING &amp; PAY: </strong>This is a year-round position working 10-20 hours/week. The typical schedule will include nights and weekends.
