Carolina Poly produces several lines of plastic products including high-quality trash bags and construction films. Carolina Poly is a new facility that is part of an established nationwide manufacturing company that can provide growth and advancement opportunities.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Coordinates, monitors, and maintains safety and good housekeeping practices in all areas of the department.</li>\n <li>Directs daily manpower placement, including planning, assigning and directing work.</li>\n <li>Directs, monitors, and assists in the training of all employees under their supervision.</li>\n <li>Manages all positions and people within their area of responsibility, including addressing complaints and resolving problems between and concerning the positions and people within their area of responsibility.</li>\n <li>Manages the quality of work and performance of each employee.</li>\n <li>Maintains, verifies and approves time for hourly employees.</li>\n <li>Appraises, develops and promotes employees under their supervision, including recommending raises, promotions and transfers.</li>\n <li>Coordinates with other departments and shifts to eliminate production delays, equipment delays or problems.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>The ideal candidate will possess:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree preferred</li>\n <li>2+ years experience with blown-film and extrusion equipment is a plus</li>\n <li>2+ years supervisory and/or management experience</li>\n <li>Must be able to thrive in a fast paced environment with ever-changing deadlines</li>\n <li>Availability to work any schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays</li>\n <li>Must have strong communication and time management skills</li>\n <li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite – AS400 application experience preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p> Carolina Poly offers competitive compensation packages including Medical/Dental, paid vacations and holidays, and 401(K).</p>\n<p>#CP2023</p>",
