          "text": "<p>CEDA is hiring local Labourers at our Suncor&#xa0;base plant&#xa0;location for our Tailings Management &amp; Environmental Solutions division in Fort McMurray! This is a seasonal contract until the end of October.&#xa0;</p><p><strong>What we offer:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>14x7 shift</strong>&#xa0;based at Suncor Site</li><li>Skill development and&#xa0;<strong>opportunity for growth</strong></li><li>Opportunity to&#xa0;<strong>learn and gain experience</strong>&#xa0;on pieces of equipment like centrifugal dewatering pumps, dredges, skid steers, and diesel/electric pumps!</li><li><strong>Variety</strong>:&#xa0;changing work scopes from one day to the next – there is always a new challenge</li><li>Be a part of a true&#xa0;<strong>team</strong>. Our work is difficult but we get it done safely, with great people</li></ul><p><strong>Key Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Performing a wide variety of jobs using basic construction skills and/or operating some power equipment</li><li>Cleaning, preparation, and maintenance of construction equipment or components</li><li>Participating in daily toolbox talk meetings, weekly safety meetings, Safety tours &amp; CEDA’s ICE card program</li><li>Required to operate and maintain trailer-mounted centrifugal dewatering pumps &amp; manage sump levels</li><li>Required to operate screen tanks, dredges, &amp; coagulant pumping systems</li><li>Required to complete line patrol on various systems to ensure the integrity of lines</li><li>Required to work &amp; drive in muddy/rough road conditions</li><li>Required to manipulate valves, Rig In/Out diesel pumps, operate Dredges &amp; Diesel /Electric pumps, skid steer, etc.</li><li>Perform other activities to assist with process and machine operators</li><li>Maintain Cleanliness of equipment &amp; Housekeeping in immediate work areas</li><li>May be required to assist with minor repairs and maintenance</li></ul><p><strong>Role Specifications:</strong></p><ul><li>2+ year’s labour experience is an asset</li><li>Valid class 5 driver’s licence is required</li><li>Prior experience with pumps, centrifuge systems or dredging and dewatering is an asset</li><li>Experience around heavy equipment (Loader, Dozer, Excavator, Backhoe) is an asset</li><li>Valid CSO certification (or combination of CSTS-09 and OSSA Regional or BSO)</li><li>Standard First aid, fall arrest, training is beneficial</li><li>Experience with heights and fall arrest ticket is an asset&#xa0;&#xa0;</li><li>Valid Aerial Work Platform (AWP) / Manlift Ticket is an asset</li><li>Comfortable working on and around open bodies of water</li><li>Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test</li></ul><p><strong>Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>You have the ability to prioritize and initiate innovative solutions</li><li>You demonstrate strong organizational and problem solving skills</li><li>You are safety focused when it comes to people and equipment</li><li>Prior experience working at heights with the use of special fall restraint equipment</li><li>Comfortable with the use of additional respiratory equipment (N-95 Dust Mask / North Half mask)</li></ul>",
