If you are a team player who is dedicated to creating a positive and respectful atmosphere for our residents, we encourage you to apply.<br></span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What You'll Do:<br></span></span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">As a key team member of our team, you will be responsible for:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Setting and cleaning tables, serving counters and the dining area according to type of event and service standards.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Taking orders, including any modifications, answer enquiries and communicate orders to kitchen.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Serving food and beverage to our residents and guests.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Know all the residents’ dietary requirements and preferences.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ability to understand and follow-out orders to serve the food correctly and according to specified modification</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Provide high level dining services to our residents according to the company’s standard.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Clean table bases, chairs, and vacuum dining room floor.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Practice and maintain established standards for cleanliness and sanitation required by the Health Department.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Promote and maintains positive communication and relationships among staff, residents, and their guests.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages. Pick-up trays and clean tables as needed to ensure a clean dining area.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Establish and maintain an atmosphere conducive to pleasant dining by creating an environment which maintains the enjoyment, self respect, dignity and physical safety of each resident.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Who You Are:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">We're looking for an individual with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. You'll also need: </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">2 years of fine dining floor experience.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Smart serve certification.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Excellent customer service skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Must be available to work weekends and flexible shifts, including evenings.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Previous working experience with seniors an asset.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Must be able to speak English fluently and be able to read and write in basic English.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ability to perform the following: carrying or lifting items up to 50 pounds, moving about the restaurant, handling food objects, plates, trays, glasses etc, Considerable bending, stooping and kneeling is required.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The Dunfield is proud to be<span> </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Certified™ by Great Place To Work®</span>, the global authority on workplace culture, employee experience and leadership behaviour, based on what employees say.
