    "description": "<h2>Job Details</h2>\n<p>Outpatient Services l Miamisburg l Full-time l Varied Shifts</p>\n<h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Job SUMMARY:</strong></p>\n<p>The LTC Pharmacist is responsible for assisting with total operations of Collaborative Pharmacy Services.</p>\n<p>This includes technician supervision, order entry verification, review, approval, unit dosing, and packaging of unit dose boxes.  </p>\n<p> Other duties as assigned.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: </strong></p>\n<p>Verification of orders, ensuring accuracy and clinical appropriateness </p>\n<p>Verification of packaged medications</p>\n<p>Provide customers with excellent customer service </p>\n<p>Oversee duties of Pharmacy Technician</p>\n<p>Schedule will include a combination of first and second shift hours / weekend coverage and on-call will also be required</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Skills/Other Qualifications</strong></p>\n<p>Graduate from an accredited school of pharmacy </p>\n<p>Current registered Pharmacist license for the State of Ohio </p>\n<p>Knowledge of drug treatment, interaction, and administration.</p>\n<p>Knowledge of drug compounding</p>\n<p>Ability to interact professionally with patients, medical staff, and third-party payers</p>\n<p>Ability to supervise others</p>\n<p>Excellent oral and written communication skills</p>\n<p>Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices</p>\n<p>Organizational skills</p>\n<p>Long Term Care Pharmacy experience is a plus</p>\n<p>Knowledge of controlled substance regulations </p>\n<p>Basic computer skills - Ability to use Microsoft Office</p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Kettering Health is a not-for-profit system of 14 medical centers and more than 120 outpatient facilities serving southwest Ohio.
