font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Order and interpret tests, counsel patients on preventive care, conduct physical examinations, and write prescriptions for patients.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Contribute to practice effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range patient care issues that must be addressed, providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations, and recommending options and courses of action.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Assess patient health by interviewing patients, performing physical examinations, obtaining, updating, and studying medical histories.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Determine abnormal conditions by administering or ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests such as x-rays and laboratory studies.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Perform therapeutic procedures by administering joint injections or aspiration.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Instruct and counsel patients by describing therapeutic regimens.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Provide continuity of care by developing and implementing patient management plans.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Must be professionally licensed to practice rheumatology and be in good standing with all applicable federal/state/local licensing bodies.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Must be board certified/board eligible in </span><span style=\"font-size: 13px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">rheumatology.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Caring </span><span style=\"font-size: 13px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">and compassionate when dealing with patients.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Thorough and up-to-date working knowledge of rheumatology and rheumatology treatment options.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Technical skills to operate medical equipment and tools related to rheumatology treatment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Must maintain current knowledge of industry best practices, trends, and applicable laws and regulations regarding their scope of practice.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px;
