Description

Trim, clean, and package thermoformed plastic products. Assist with the set up of all finishing tools and process equipment. Clean and organize the work area. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Lifts and positions formed parts on to work table. T rims (finish) formed products using air powered tools (routers - drills - sanders - riveter). Feeds trim scrap into a material grinder. Files, sands, or scribe sharp edges and/or burrs from finished parts. Cleans brushes or blows debris (chips-dust) from finished parts. Stacks, sorts and marks or tags finished products. Assists the operator with the measuring of parts to verify conformance to specifications. Visually inspects products during finishing processes. Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment. Performs other routine duties. Assists the operator with machine set-ups and changeovers. Changes power tool bits and attachments. Performs Operator duties as specified by Group Leader or Supervisor. Assists the operator with tool temperature data sheet, pre-production checklists, quality documentation, safety checklists, machine audits and reporting. Performs position in accordance with established quality standards.
