At E2, we value safety, innovation and collaboration, and we are dedicated to excellence.</p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>An Electrician, under general direction and/or in accordance with established procedures and/or work instructions, safely performs simple and routine as well as some non-routine tasks or tests within, but not necessarily limited to, the area of electrical maintenance and installation. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Location: 626 Cochran Mill Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236 (South Park)</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Temporary Position - Greater than 90 days anticipated</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Pay In Lieu of Benefits (PILB)</strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Performs a variety of electrical trade functions such as the installation, maintenance, or repair of equipment for the generation, distribution, or utilization of electric energy according to the latest revision of the National Electrical Code (NEC) or local jurisdictional authority. Work involves most of the following: installing or repairing any of a variety of electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, or other transmission equipment.</li>\n <li>Works from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications, locating and diagnosing trouble in the electrical system or equipment, working standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment, and using a variety of electrician's hand tools and measuring and testing instruments. </li>\n <li>Duties will be varied to include: construct components, sub-units and simple models; adapt standard equipment, troubleshooting and correcting equipment malfunctions, perform planned preventive maintenance or assist with overhaul maintenance using diagnostic equipment for which training has been completed. </li>\n <li>Conducts basic tests which may require test equipment/set-ups or procedures as well as subjective judgment in measurements. </li>\n <li>Must be able to work safely, including but not limited to following proper SOP(s) and PPE guidelines, with systems operating at various voltage levels. Must conduct and/or adhere to AHA’s and/or THA’s for work performed. </li>\n <li>May provide limited guidance and/or on-the-job assistance to lateral and lower-level technicians for work on simple/routine or more complex assignments. </li>\n <li>Work may be evaluated while in progress and upon completion. </li>\n <li>Performs maintenance using oral and/or written instructions. </li>\n <li>Escort and monitor work performed by outside vendors in accordance with facility requirements. </li>\n <li>Respond to various types of emergencies and provide assistance as appropriate based on skills, knowledge, and ability. </li>\n <li>Complete and return required administrative work on time as directed, (e.g., timesheets, vacation slips, classroom and computer-based training, log sheets, PM / PE / MODs, service records etc.)</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned to ensure timely project execution.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Completion of a vocational training school or apprenticeship program, knowledge of electrical codes and regulations, and two years journeyman level experience.</li>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent, plus training that includes theory of electrical maintenance and installation.</li>\n <li>Understand basic math, able to read schematics, diagrams, and technical documents appropriate to trade.</li>\n <li>Computer experience including email, payroll time entry and online training.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Qualified union journeyman electrician with five years’ experience performing troubleshooting and repair work in a commercial or industrial facility and broad knowledge of other disciplines.</li>\n <li>Safety training equivalent to OSHA 30.</li>\n <li>Ability to work safely under general supervision, follow written procedures and verbal instructions, perform journey-level work, and manage time to complete assignments. </li>\n <li>Proficiency with Microsoft products and CMMS computer maintenance management systems.</li>\n <li>Familiar with laboratory operations.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Conditions of Employment</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be a US Citizen</li>\n <li>Possess and maintain a valid U.S. driver's license.</li>\n <li>All regular, non-temporary positions assigned to this classification are represented by a labor union and subject to the terms and conditions of the IUOE Local 95 Collective Bargaining Agreement.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<p><strong>E2 Federal Services, LLC</strong> offers an excellent benefits package represented by a labor union and subject to the terms and conditions of the IUOE Collective Bargaining Agreement.</p>\n<h2>Work Environment/Physical Demands</h2>\n<p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Requires work in commercial government facilities (e.g., warehouse, offices, projects, labs, outside locations, etc. where mechanical equipment is being installed, tested, analyzed, monitored, or operated and / or maintained. Equipment may be loud and noisy and or have exposed moving components.</li>\n <li>Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks which requires following basic safety precautions. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical and Mental Demands</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Constant use of vision and mental alertness is required working in all types of weather (heat, humidity, sub-zero cold). </li>\n <li>Position may involve work indoor or outdoor locations where loud equipment with exposed moving components is being operated, monitored, or maintained.</li>\n <li>Able to perform all the typical repetitive physical requirements such as: walking, pushing, pulling, handling, grasping, kneeling, working overhead.</li>\n <li>Able to work in awkward positions for extended periods of time or in confined spaces.</li>\n <li>Position may involve routine carrying or lifting of 20 pounds (and occasionally up to 50 pounds), or working at heights, climbing stairs, ladders, scaffolds, and using scissors or aerial lifts.</li>\n <li>Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English to respond to visual and audible alarms.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Integrated Safety Management</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Observe and follow all corporate, federal, state and site environmental safety and health (ES&H) policies and procedures that pertain to the job classification being performed.</li>\n <li>Perform only those tasks in which you have the required training, competence, knowledge, skills, and abilities to prevent injury to oneself, other employees, the public, or the environment. </li>\n <li>Hazard and situational awareness for ES&H risks associated with the work.
