The successful candidate will work closely with the Family and Community Engagement/Facilities Director to meet the school’s needs.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: #595959\">Qualifications: </span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>High school diploma or equivalent</span></li>\n<li><span>Valid driver’s license</span></li>\n<li><span>Personal background record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment</span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to comply with environmental, health, and safety laws/regulations, building codes, and ADA accessibility guidelines</span></li>\n<li><span>Proficiency in floor care techniques including buffing, waxing, and polishing</span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to operate cleaning equipment efficiently and safely</span></li>\n<li><span>Be knowledgeable in the operation of building systems; i.e. HVAC, boilers, fire safety equipment, clocks, electrical apparatus, etc</span></li>\n<li><span>Strong attention to detail with a focus on thorough task completion</span></li>\n<li><span>Physical stamina to meet the demands of the role effectively</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: #595959\">Responsibilities: </span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: #595959\">Custodial : </span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #595959\">Empties trash receptacles, collects and disposes of trash bags from classrooms after lunch and breakfast.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #595959\">Cleans/maintains school facilities such as classrooms, restrooms, hallways, entrance doors, entryways, offices, floors, desks, chairs and walls. This includes scrubbing, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting and waxing.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #595959\">Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and blinds.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #595959\">Washes walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, doors, and sills.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #595959\">Maintain clean and clutter-free shared workspaces throughout the school</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: #595959\">Maintenance and Repair: </span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Replenishes supplies in restrooms and classrooms</span></li>\n<li><span>Receives deliveries and assists in unloading trucks and storing supplies.</span></li>\n<li><span>Delivers supplies and materials to classrooms, bathrooms, and other areas of the building.</span></li>\n<li><span>Replaces light bulbs as needed</span></li>\n<li><span>Paint and repair minor holes in drywall</span></li>\n<li><span>Schedule preventative maintenance, respond to urgent maintenance calls, and participate in creating emergency preparedness plans.</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: #595959\">Outdoor Maintenance : </span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Grounds and landscaping maintenance</span></li>\n<li><span>Other projects and activities as assigned by the administration</span></li>\n<li><span>Clears snow from entrances and walks, and spreads sand and ice-melting chemicals.</span></li>\n<li><span>Performs grounds-keeping duties, clears debris, and maintains grounds.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: #595959\">Salary:</span></span><span style=\"color: #595959\"> $20.00 </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #595959\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Hours:</span> TBD</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #595959\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Location:</span> Normandy </span></p>",
