The ideal candidate will lead mobile drive activities, ensuring donor safety, compliance with FDA standards, and exceptional customer service.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Lead and schedule day-to-day activities on mobile drives.</li><li>Ensure all donors are properly screened and blood components are drawn according to FDA and company SOPs.</li><li>Collaborate with drive coordinators to ensure efficiency and safety.</li><li>Assist in achieving monthly production goals.</li><li>Provide high-level customer service and address external complaints.</li><li>Maintain updated SOPs, references, and map books.</li><li>Assist with staff training and in-service programs.</li><li>Perform collection procedures, including whole blood and apheresis.</li><li>Administer post-venipuncture care to donors.</li><li>Address disciplinary issues and notify management as needed.</li><li>Monitor and participate in QC/Quality Assurance activities.</li><li>Prepare units, tubes, and records for transport.</li><li>Perform computer data entry and retrieval.</li><li>Maintain equipment and ensure cleanliness of work areas.</li><li>Participate in meetings, seminars, and in-service trainings.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>3-5 years of related work experience preferred.</li><li>At least 2 years of leadership/training experience preferred.</li><li>Basic computer skills.</li><li>CPR certification and completion of a certified phlebotomy program.</li></ul><p><strong>Skills and Abilities:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.</li><li>Ability to work effectively with a team to achieve goals.</li><li>Proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making.</li><li>Knowledge of general safety and quality procedures.</li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate integrity.</li><li>Physical ability to lift 35 pounds and stand, sit, and walk for long periods.</li></ul><p><strong>Working Conditions:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Community blood center with adequate light and climate control.</li><li>Irregular hours, often exceeding 10 hours per day and on weekends.</li><li>Potential exposure to infectious diseases from blood and blood products.</li></ul><p><strong>How to Apply:</strong> Please click on the apply button and fill out the application.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Disclaimer:</strong> This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
