We are a growing and fast-paced campus that offers Physical, Occupational, and Speech therapy services in a traditional clinical setting, as well as on our ranch, with the incorporation of the horse as part of a comprehensive evidence-based plan (hippotherapy.)</p><p><br></p><p>At Leaps &amp; Bounds, the family is at the center of our mission, we work together to help children reach their therapy goals and improve the quality of life for our families. Together, we can continue to help children grow by Leaps &amp; Bounds!</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Essential Functions</strong></p><p>Physical Therapist performs assessments and interpretation of evaluations and test results; determining physical therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians or by prescription and carrying out a treatment plan that supports functional improvement across the lifespan.</p><ul><li>Provide quality care by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results; determine physical therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians or by prescription.</li><li>Help patient accomplish goals outlined in treatment plan and effective use of therapeutic devices by administering manual exercises; instructing, encouraging, and assisting patients in performing physical activities, such as nonmanual exercises, ambulatory functional activities, and daily-living activities and in using assistive and supportive devices, such as crutches, canes, and prostheses.</li><li>Administer physical therapy treatment by applying physical agents, electrical stimulation, directing treatments given by assistants, and aids.</li><li>Evaluate effects of physical therapy treatments and fit of prosthetic and orthotic devices by observing, noting, and evaluating patient's progress; recommending adjustments and modifications.</li><li>Complete discharge planning by consulting with physicians, nurses, social workers, and other health care workers; contributing to patient care conferences.</li><li>Assure continuation of therapeutic plan following discharge by designing home exercise programs; instructing patients, families, and caregivers in home exercise programs; recommending and/or providing assistive equipment; recommending outpatient or home health follow-up programs.</li><li>Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records, according to the law.</li><li>Maintain patient confidence and protects clinic operations by keeping information confidential, according to the law.</li><li>Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.</li><li>Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.</li><li>Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.</li><li>Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.</li><li>Develop physical therapy staff by providing information; developing and conducting in-service training programs.</li><li>Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.</li><li>Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.</li><li>Participate effectively as a member of the IEP team, but providing these services as part of a comprehensive education plan and in accordance with the written IEP.</li></ul><p>The compensation range varies based on experience, $83,200.00 - $97,760.00</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Benefits Include</strong></p><ul><li>Medical, dental, vision &amp; life insurance</li><li>401k with a 4% match</li><li>Student Loan Contributions</li><li>Accruing PTO</li><li>6 paid holidays</li><li>Productivity bonus structure and continuing education reimbursement.</li><li>Weekly meetings with your supervisor and department for ongoing support and collaboration.</li><li>There are substantial in-house opportunities for growth and development, as well as collaboration with our dynamic team.</li><li>Casual Fridays</li><li>Fun company events</li></ul>",
