We provide leading‐edge conveyor and sortation systems, voice and light‐directed order fulfillment equipment, controls and software, robotics, mezzanines, and structures.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>If you want to join a team of industry leading experts and who want to create an impact on the future of material handling solutions, we want to hear from you!</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Position Summary:</strong></p>\n<p>The Powder Coat Painter/Blaster applies powder coat paint to products using a manual spray gun and automated coating system, maintaining required paint thickness and ensuring high quality finishes.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities include but are not limited to: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Coating manufactured parts consistent with powder coat paint to customer and internal quality requirements</li>\n <li>Inspecting material from fabrication shop</li>\n <li>Operating all coating equipment including manual spray guns, hopper's, and booth collection systems</li>\n <li>Using the paint line efficiently with minimal stoppages and gaps</li>\n <li>Employees are responsible to comply with all requirements of Daifuku’s QMS policies and procedures. </li>\n <li>Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education and Experience Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School diploma or equivalent preferred</li>\n <li>Minimum of 1 year of related experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledge of powder paint characteristics and application, the operation and repair of painting equipment, and material preparation</li>\n <li>Knowledge of quality assurance and self-inspection techniques</li>\n <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li>\n <li>Self-motivated and detail-oriented</li>\n <li>Team orientation</li>\n <li>Crane operation experience preferred but not required</li>\n <li>Forklift operation experience preferred but not required</li>\n <li>Big Joe operation experience preferred but not required</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>ADA Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Medium work: </strong>Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.</li>\n <li><strong>Climbing:</strong> Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms. Body agility is emphasized. This factor is important if the amount and kind of climbing required exceeds that required for ordinary locomotion.</li>\n <li><strong>Reaching:</strong> Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.</li>\n <li><strong>Standing:</strong> Remaining upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time.</li>\n <li><strong>Walking:</strong> Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another.</li>\n <li><strong>Grasping:</strong> Applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm.</li>\n <li><strong>Repetitive motions:</strong> Making substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.</li>\n <li><strong>Visual Acuity:</strong> The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Job Conditions: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>The worker is subject to:</strong> inside environmental conditions: Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. </li>\n <li><strong>The worker is subject to: </strong>hazards including a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals.</li>\n <li><strong>The worker is required to:</strong> function in narrow aisles or passageways.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>#LI-DNP</p>",
