    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><i><strong>The University of Wyoming invites diverse applicants to consider our employment opportunities.&nbsp; We are also especially interested in candidates who have experience working with diverse populations and/or diverse initiatives</strong></i>.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>JOB TITLE:&nbsp;</strong> &nbsp;</p>\n<p>Assistant Supervisor, Demand Response</p>\n<p><strong>JOB PURPOSE:&nbsp;</strong> &nbsp;</p>\n<p>Provide leadership support to the Transit Supervisor, Demand Response</p>\n<p><strong>PAY:</strong> $18.35 - $18.85/hr, depending on experience. &nbsp;<i>We offer competitive periodic raises.&nbsp;</i></p>\n<p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong> &nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide support to the Supervisor by assisting in the supervision and coordination of SafeRide operations, fill in as Demand Response Supervisor as needed.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Maintain vehicle &amp; equipment inventory, assign equipment resources to employees.</li>\n <li>Coordinate, enforce, and document all mandated federal/state regulations, and department policies pertaining to the transit system and safety.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Complete documentation of personnel performance, complete compliance checks.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Provide training to new drivers/dispatchers, ensure that they are prepared to perform job duties on their own.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Respond to and investigate vehicle related accidents/incidents.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Respond to and investigate passenger related complaints/incidents.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Provide excellent customer service</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>SUPPLEMENTAL FUNCTIONS:&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist with supervision of other areas of Demand Response, such as Transit Dispatch &amp; Paratransit operations.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Perform backup dispatching and driving duties as needed.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Maintain ridership and other transit related data as needed.</li>\n <li>Assist with community outreach and resource fairs as needed.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>REMOTE WORK ELIGIBILITY:&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<p>This position provides vital support to campus customers and requires the successful candidate be available to work on campus.</p>\n<p><strong>SCHEDULING:&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<p>Must be available to work combination of SafeRide shifts: Thursday - Monday. Shifts would be consistently late afternoon &amp; nights. Early mornings are not part of this position. Application must include an availability matrix - see required materials section.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;SafeRide Operating Hours:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Monday - Friday: 9:00pm - 3:00am</li>\n <li>Saturday: 9:30am - 3:00am</li>\n <li>Sunday: 9:30am - 10:30pm</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Must be available to work during the summer months.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Total hours could range from 15-19 hours a week. Students can get extra hours as a driver/dispatcher.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</strong> &nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Applicants must be able to pass all drug and/or alcohol screenings required by the UW Drug and Alcohol Policy.&nbsp; This would include a pre-employment drug screening. (https://www.uwyo.edu/tps/_files/drugalcoholpolicy.pdf)</li>\n <li>Valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) that is compliant with the <a href=\"https://www.uwyo.edu/risk/_files/docs/offical-vehicle-policy.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"><u>University Vehicle Use Policy</u></a>.</li>\n <li>High School Graduate or GED and one year of work related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.</li>\n <li>Applicants must be 21 years of age, or will be within first month of hire.
