Our family operated company provides the attention and flexibility that only a regional carrier can, backed by excellence in service and powerful logistical tools.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Dohrn is seeking a Part Time Working Dock Supervisor at our Oak Creek, WI terminal!</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Hours: Monday-Friday, 5:00pm Start</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Wage: $27.0/hr</strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>We are seeking a Part Time Working Dock Supervisor at our Oak Creek, WI terminal.</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Hours: Monday-Friday, 5:00pm Start</strong></p>\n<p><strong>POSITION SUMMARY:</strong></p>\n<p>To organize the dock, provide paperwork for dockworkers, and oversee the loads to ensure the trailers are being loaded correctly. Must be forklift certified and expected to work the floor.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide training, supervision, feedback, and discipline for dock team members</li>\n <li>Monitor Dock performance and efficiency and adjust manpower as needed</li>\n <li>Solve problems regarding lost and missing freight</li>\n <li>Communicate efficiently with other departments to ensure a successful operation</li>\n <li>Work in a safe and professional manner so as to reduce personal risks and risk to fellow employees</li>\n <li>Report all facility problems to the Facility Maintenance Department</li>\n <li>Comply with federal, state, and company regulations</li>\n <li>Process all paperwork daily associated with the execution of the job</li>\n <li>Work in a positive, supportive, and cooperative way at all times</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<p>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS</p>\n<ul>\n <li>A minimum age of 18</li>\n <li>High School completion or equivalent</li>\n <li>Valid Driver License</li>\n <li>Supervisory experience required</li>\n <li>Ability to work any shift</li>\n <li>Must have the knowledge and ability to perform all Operations jobs in the Terminal including Dock, Dispatch, Warehouse, and Routing</li>\n <li>Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills</li>\n <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li>\n <li>Strong leadership skills</li>\n <li>Detail-oriented, organized</li>\n <li>Must meet all physical requirements</li>\n <li>Must have certification in forklift safety and hazardous material handling</li>\n <li>Ability to multi-task and react to change productively</li>\n <li>Excellent attendance</li>\n</ul>\n<p>WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Visual Acuity including regular use of items including a computer screen or monitor</li>\n <li>Lifting various types of materials will be required: cartons, bags, cylinders, boxes, crates, drums, pipe, bars, rugs, etc</li>\n <li>Common material handling tools will be used: forklifts, carts, dollies, banding machines, shrink wrap tubes, pallet jacks, and tow motors</li>\n <li>Standing, walking, squatting, pushing, pulling, twisting, carrying, bending at the waist, reaching, and lifting both above and below waist level will be required</li>\n <li>Must be physically capable of operating a forklift, pallet jack, load lock and two-wheel handcart</li>\n <li>Will be required to lift up, set down, slide or move weight unassisted that could exceed 80 pounds</li>\n <li>Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a frequent basis and 100+ lbs. on an infrequent basis</li>\n <li>Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time</li>\n <li>Must have the ability to safely enter and exit trailers, vans, flatbeds, forklifts and tractors</li>\n <li>Must have the ability to work around and operate motorized equipment</li>\n <li>Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job as specified in the job description</li>\n <li>May be exposed to extreme hot or cold temperatures and dusty conditions in the dock environment; must be able to perform essential functions in these conditions</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>To navigate to the Dohrn Transfer Career Center and apply for this position, please go to www.dohrn.com, click on Careers, Apply Now, and choose your location.</strong></p>\n<p>Dohrn Transfer Company, LLC is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer and welcomes all qualified applicants.
