    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<div><strong>We are currently hiring a Packaging Operator in Milton, DE for 1st and 2nd shift rotating monthly.</strong></div><div>&nbsp;</div><p>The Packaging Operator runs packaging machinery to meet brewery needs and goals. This position trains throughout the Packaging Department to become skilled in operating all equipment within their designated work area.&nbsp;The ideal candidate has 1+ years of packaging/production experience and is a solid team player with a “get it done, can do” attitude.&nbsp;</p><p><br><strong>What You'll Brew:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Safely and efficiently operate packaging machinery. Machinery types include, but are not limited to: Filler, Labeler, Box Maker, Packer</li><li>Utilize lean manufacturing methodologies in daily standard work to drive improvements in safety, quality, and overall line performance.</li><li>Follow manufacturing best practices, such as equipment center lining, visualization, and 6S.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform quality checks, testing, inspections, minor lubrication, and paperwork as required.&nbsp;</li><li>Fulfil sanitation duties. Requires the use of foaming equipment, hoses, brooms, shovels, brushes, scrapers, squeegees, and sanitation chemicals.&nbsp;</li><li>Develop and maintain a functional understanding of computer systems. Operate computers, automated equipment, fulfil administrative obligations, and input data as required.&nbsp;</li><li>Work in a team-oriented environment with a “Safety-First” approach. Assist other operators and departments in training, repair work and equipment operation as needed.</li><li>Operate forklifts as required.</li><li>Tolerate summer/winter temperature conditions and hot and cold room environments</li><li>Work and clean in confirmed space areas, such as the pasteurizer, after required permitting procedures are completed.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What Ingredients You'll Bring:&nbsp;</strong></p><p><i><strong>Minimum Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></i></p><ul><li><span style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\">High school diploma or equivalent.</span></li><li><span style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\">At least 1 year of experience in packaging, production, or a similar manufacturing environment.</span></li><li><span style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\">Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.</span></li><li><span style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\">Computer‑proficient and able to learn and accurately use company systems and automated equipment.</span></li><li><span style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\">Able to work shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime, including 12‑hour days or nights.</span></li><li><span style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\">Strong verbal and written communication skills.</span></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Working Conditions/Physical Requirements</strong></p><ul><li><span style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\">Work takes place in a busy industrial environment with dense production equipment and frequent forklift traffic, requiring strong situational awareness.</span></li><li><span style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\">Exposure to constant loud noise.</span></li><li><p><span style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\">Work areas may be non‑climate‑controlled, resulting in extreme heat or cold.</span></p><div>&nbsp;</div></li><li><span style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\">Must pass a pre‑employment physical exam; some roles require respirator use and fit testing.</span></li><li><span style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\">Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, sometimes repeatedly.</span></li><li><span style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\">Prolonged walking and standing (up to 11 hours) on concrete, metal, or grated surfaces.</span></li><li><span style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\">Frequent crouching, bending, twisting, climbing, stepping over obstacles, reaching overhead, and navigating tight spaces.</span></li><li><span style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\">May require climbing stairs, working at heights, on elevated platforms, or in confined spaces.</span></li><li><span style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\">Must wear required PPE (safety shoes, gloves, facemask, hearing protection, hard hat).</span></li><li><span style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\">Requires manual dexterity for handling materials, operating equipment, and using computer systems.</span></li><li><span style=\"white-space: pre-wrap;\">Some positions (e.g., forklift operators) involve extended sitting and require strong peripheral vision and depth perception.</span></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Level:</strong> 9&nbsp;</p><p>In accordance with pay transparency laws the pay rate for this role if hired is $22.40 - $25.50 per hour.
