Other minor duties may be assigned.</h2>\n<h2>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.<strong>  </strong>Other duties may be assigned.  </h2>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>The driver is responsible for safely operating the truck in compliance with IWS’s safety standards as well as OSHA and DOT regulations, and local traffic laws.</li>\n <li>This is a full time position. </li>\n <li>This position is non-union, and offers competitive pay and full benefits, including medical insurance, life insurance, retirement benefits, and paid time off.</li>\n <li>All routes are local, you will be home daily.</li>\n <li>Ensuring that the container/tank and its content are always secure. </li>\n <li>Perform pre- and post-route inspections of assigned truck and document any safety issues on standard reports.</li>\n <li>Continuously monitor for safety and service-related issues, as well as containers of other equipment in need of repair, and report any issues to your manager.</li>\n <li>All IWS employees are expected to be responsible and accountable for the safety for themselves, their colleagues, the trucks, and other equipment and property. Drivers must immediately notify their manager of any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage.</li>\n <li>Communicate professionally with customers, vendors or contracting partners at all times. This includes receiving complaints about schedules and quality of service. Our Drivers must make note of and report on any such complaints and respond in a courteous and respectful manner.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><em><u>Work Environment</u></em></strong><em><u> </u></em></p>\n<p><em><u> </u></em></p>\n<ul>\n <li>The Driver position may be required to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, as well as mount and dismount the truck multiple times every route.</li>\n <li>As part of our commitment to safety and accountability, all our trucks are equipped with route tracking software and video monitoring.</li>\n <li>We strictly adhere to DOT safety regulations, including motor vehicle record review and drug testing requirements.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements and Qualifications:</h2>\n<p><strong> Requirements and Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.</li>\n <li>All Drivers must have a valid Class A CDL with air brake endorsement, tanker endorsement, and a clean driving record.</li>\n <li>At least 1 year of experience operating a vehicle requiring a CDL-A, within the last 7 years. Experience as a Driver or Helper for a refuge company is highly preferred.</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of DOT, OSHA and applicable traffic regulations.</li>\n <li>Must be able to speak and read English well enough to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic and signals, respond to official questions, and be able to make legible entries on reports and records.</li>\n <li>Must be able to read and understand a map</li>\n <li>Must be able to meet the physical and safety requirements of the position.</li>\n <li>Must be willing and able to work required worked hours as allowed under DOT regulation and may include weekend, night, and/or holiday work.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Additional Information</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This job description is intended to be an accurate representation of the general functions of the job, rather than exhaustive list of duties, responsibilities, or experience.
