This role is responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting the safe and efficient movement of cargo through the terminal.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automated production line equipment, including:<ul type=\"circle\"><li>Motors, gearboxes, and conveyor systems</li><li>Bucket elevators and material handling systems</li><li>Sensors and PLC-controlled systems</li><li>Robotic and automated equipment, including robotic arms</li></ul></li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform maintenance and repairs on terminal equipment, including:<ul type=\"circle\"><li>Ship-to-Shore (STS) cranes</li><li>Rubber-Tired Gantry (RTG) cranes</li><li>Reach stackers, top loaders, forklifts, and front-end loaders</li></ul></li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Diagnose equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize operational downtime</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Inspect and maintain terminal infrastructure, including lighting, power systems, and related facilities</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Conduct routine safety inspections and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and inspection reports</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Coordinate with operations teams to schedule maintenance activities without disrupting cargo flow</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist with installation, commissioning, and startup of new automated production lines and equipment</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Support ongoing upgrades, retrofits, and continuous improvement initiatives</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Follow all company safety policies and procedures and participate in safety programs</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist supervisors and team members as needed, including support during vessel operations</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>EDUCATION and/or WORK EXPERIENCE:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">2+ years of experience in production line maintenance, industrial maintenance, or similar environment required</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Hands-on experience working with:<ul type=\"circle\"><li>Motors, gearboxes, and conveyor systems</li><li>Bucket elevators and bulk material handling equipment</li><li>Sensors and PLC systems</li><li>Automated and robotic equipment (preferred)</li></ul></li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with heavy/mobile equipment such as forklifts and front-end loaders preferred</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Basic knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and automated systems</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and diagrams</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office and maintenance systems)</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must have or be eligible to obtain a TWIC</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to safely perform all essential job functions in compliance with ADA, FMLA, and applicable regulations</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to lift, carry, and work with heavy equipment and tools</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Comfortable working in an industrial port environment, including heights, confined spaces, and outdoor conditions</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must maintain regular and reliable attendance</li></ul></div></div></div></div>\n",
