We value and respect our employees - their experience and expertise as well as their energy, passion and diversity - and their innovative approach to work and to life.</p><p>Are you ready to design your future?</p><p>Be our next&nbsp;<strong>Senior Project Manager, Building Science</strong>!</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Your work environment at EXP</strong></p><p>EXP’s&nbsp;Calgary&nbsp;office is currently seeking a&nbsp;Senior Project Manager, Building Science&nbsp;to join their team and work with our Building Science Manager. &nbsp;If you have experience in the building envelope, curtain wall, or fenestration industries, you are looking to be part of a progressive and diverse group of professionals with a passion for building science and restoration, you have demonstrated strong career progression and you are ready to take the next step. &nbsp;We would like to meet with you.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What a day at EXP has in store for you</strong></p><ul><li>Under the direction of the Building Science Manager, you will:</li><li>Lead project teams delivering consulting engineering services to clients</li><li>Undertake building investigations and field reviews&nbsp;for design,&nbsp;repair, and restoration</li><li>Monitor and manage project tasks budgets and schedules</li><li>Prepare proposals and pursue new work</li><li>Prepare building investigation reports and construction documents</li><li>Provide technical advice and guidance to clients and direct project teams</li><li>Mentor, coach, and develop employees through daily project work</li><li>Manage the contract administration and quality of restoration projects through the construction stage, including contractor performance to ensure project deliverables and standards are met</li><li>Communicate effectively with clients by keeping them informed of site issues impacting project quality and resolving issues quickly</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What your experience looks like</strong></p><ul><li>Degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture or a related field</li><li>8-10+ years’ experience in the Building Science industry with:<ul><li>New construction and building envelope restoration</li><li>Parking structure condition surveys would be an asset</li><li>Working as a prime consultant on projects</li></ul></li><li>Registered with APEGA or AAA</li><li>Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills</li><li>A motivated, self-starter with a demonstrated ability to work independently as well as within a team environment</li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills as well as attention to detail</li><li>Must be able to meet project deadlines</li><li>Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) applications</li><li>Organized, works well under pressure,&nbsp;able to deal with situations with tact</li><li>A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle is required</li><li>LEED Accreditation, PMP would be an asset</li><li>Experience with suspended access equipment (work from heights) an asset</li><li>Knowledge in current energy requirements in building codes and energy modelling</li><li>Some regional travel may be required<br>&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><div><br><br>&nbsp;</div><div><div><p><span class=\"x2kd x1a\"><strong>EXP subscribes to the Workplace Equity Program.
