This role focuses on delivering high-quality instruction, building strong member relationships, and driving participation in coaching programs, events, and on-course play. By inspiring confidence and fostering enjoyment of the game, the Player Development Professional plays a key role in activating members, increasing retention, and supporting overall membership growth.<br>&nbsp;<br><strong>Reporting Structure</strong>&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;• &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Reports to the Director of Player Development or Director of Golf&nbsp;<br><br><strong>Day to Day</strong><br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Provide coaching and player development activities, including swing assessments, lessons, clinics, and engagement events.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Play golf regularly with an assigned group of members to encourage participation, improve retention, and build long-term relationships.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Enhance player performance through customized instruction and professional club fitting.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Plan, execute, and manage junior, adult, beginner, and social coaching programs that meet minimum participation goals.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Drive membership growth by developing and managing a strong new member pipeline.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Organize and execute outreach events to activate members, attract new golfers, and increase engagement.<br>&nbsp;<br><br><strong>Additional Duties</strong>&nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Due to the dynamic nature of the club, employees are expected to assist others as needed and take on additional tasks as assigned by management.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Follow all company, club, and department policies, procedures, and instructions.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Maintain a high level of professionalism and a commitment to excellence in interactions with members, colleagues, and staff.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Follow safe working practices, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and encouraging others to do the same.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Take the initiative in personal and professional growth and maintain any required certifications relevant to your role.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Address and resolve challenges using available resources, working with regional and corporate teams to support club operations.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Attend daily briefings and actively engage in required activities to stay informed and contribute to the team’s success.<br><br><br><strong><u>About You</u></strong><br>Required&nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Passion for playing golf and helping others improve.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Strong interest in swing mechanics, athletic movement, and golf technology.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Engaging, approachable personality with the ability to build confidence and connection in students.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.<br><br>Preferred&nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;PGA/LPGA Professional Certification.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Previous experience in golf instruction, coaching, or the golf industry.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Strong understanding of golf fundamentals and player development concepts.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ability to work effectively with golfers of all ages and skill levels.<br><br><strong>Physical Requirements</strong>&nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Primarily outdoors with frequent exposure to extreme hot or cold temperatures and humidity.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Sitting, standing, walking, climbing/ladders, squatting/kneeling, reaching, grasping, pushing/pulling, twisting/bending, lifting/carrying up to 100 lbs., talking, hearing, and seeing.<br><br><strong>Primary Tools/Equipment</strong>&nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Golf Clubs&nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Golf Bag &nbsp; &nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Merchandise &nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Computer &nbsp;<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br><strong>Work Schedule</strong> &nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Adherence to attendance requirements as outlined in the weekly schedule.&nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Flexibility to work additional hours as needed to meet position deadlines.&nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Availability to work on weekends and/or holidays as required.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>What We Offer</u></strong><br>We believe in taking care of our team, and our Total Rewards package reflects that commitment.
